I had an extremely disappointing experience at Toyota of Tacoma. I purchased a service plan they promised would work at any Toyota dealership, but when I went to a different dealership, I was told the plan Tacoma. I purchased a service plan they promised would work at any Toyota dealership, but when I went to a different dealership, I was told the plan wasn’t valid. This left me paying out of pocket for services I was told would be covered. Additionally, the staff was consistently rude and condescending. Despite being the owner of the vehicle, they would speak to my male friends first, asking them for permission before addressing me. I also experienced poor communication—waiting over two hours for a promised callback, waiting for multiple days to be able to get on the phone to get appointments during business hours, having no vehicle because of missing parts and many others… I don’t want other consumers to fall into the trap of buying something they can’t use. The deceptive sales tactics and poor service here have caused me significant frustration, and I cannot recommend this dealership. More

On 11 April 2024 I inquired about a 2018 Tacoma stock # TP7411. After a few email messages between myself and the salesman we scheduled an appointment for Saturday, 13 April 2024. As I was pulling into the TP7411. After a few email messages between myself and the salesman we scheduled an appointment for Saturday, 13 April 2024. As I was pulling into the dealership I received a text message informing me the vehicle sold. The salesman apologized for the inconvenience and asked if I wanted to look at other vehicles. Not to waste a trip I decided to do so. I ended up purchasing a 2022 Tacoma. Now here comes the reason for the low rating and the reason behind the email. It seems the truck I originally wanted had not been sold and is available as of 18 April 2024. In fact its being driven around by the service manager. Now if I had been told this I may not be as angry. However to be blatantly lied too is unforgiveable. The lack of integrity and the "bait and switch" tactics is why dealerships get a bad wrap to begin with. I will never recommend your dealership to anyone. When asked about Toyota of Tacoma I will not challenge my integrity and will tell it like it is. Your dealership employs LIARS! More
Bought a truck with a cracked windshield and had it in the paperwork that they would replace it. They didn't. We called and got nothing but excuses to start with. Then they would transfer us to someone el the paperwork that they would replace it. They didn't. We called and got nothing but excuses to start with. Then they would transfer us to someone else. Then they wouldn't take our calls. They wait you out until you finally give up. Windshields aren't cheap. Liars and cheaters if you ask me. More
Avoid this place or you’ll pay the price, literally! ! These people take advantage and are predatory. The finance departments practices are slimy and questionable. They slip extras in on your contract and distract you while signing. They took advantage of my dad who has a TBI from being hit by a drunk driver. He bought a used $21,000 car, put $10,000 down and these people added so much extra crap to his purchase his financed amount is $35,000!! So, essentially $45,000 for a $21,000 used car, with $10,000 down. Make it make sense!! They refused to work with him when he went back the next day and were rude and defensive. They loan shopped, so now he is getting letters from banks who declined the loan proposed from the dealership due to the cars age/mileage. I urge anyone else reading this who experiences similar to file complaints with the Attorney General, BBB, FTC and against their dealer license. More
I went in to trade in my Honda pilot and was going to buy a Tacoma or 4Runner. We really liked the 4Runner and wanted to work a deal. 1st sales guy was super arrogant and we were so happy he handed us off to a Tacoma or 4Runner. We really liked the 4Runner and wanted to work a deal. 1st sales guy was super arrogant and we were so happy he handed us off to the next guy. Super cool dude Ivan. After telling him we wanted to work a deal he came with a deal that was no where close to what we wanted. I told him no way was I gonna pay that much nor get burned on my trade in. He told us that the Pilot wasn’t selling so they couldn’t work a deal. Wow. I proceeded to call my guy at Toyota of Olympia and he told me come down. We will work a deal! The next morning I went to Olympia and walked out with the 4Runner at a fraction of what Larson was telling me. Oh well. There lost. Never again will I step into this dealership. Horrible buisness. I reached out online about a car they had on the lot. A short time later Tony Petrina reached out to me from the sales department. I had a few questions and he answered them immediately. I live about A short time later Tony Petrina reached out to me from the sales department. I had a few questions and he answered them immediately. I live about 45 minutes from the dealership, and I knew this car would go fast(manual and low miles). So I texted him early, and asked if the car was still available, and if he could grab the keys for me to test drive. I didn't want to get down there and have it be gone. He connected with the GM and they were able to hold the keys long enough(about an hour) for me to get down there. I walked in to meet Tony, but I was in the wrong area. So whomever was at the front desk walked me over to Tony Petrina and he met me with a smile and we took the car out for a drive. Super knowledgeable salesman, and he was very easy to work/talk with. I had a preapproval, but it didn't work because the car was over 10 years old. That was a little wrench, but the finance person(Jaime) was equally as helpful, and made things happen quickly(and painfully). They were both amazing to work with, and now my son will have a great and reliable Toyota when he finally turns 16. In the meantime, I'm having fun driving a stick again(20+ years), and will save mileage on my Tundra. I don't write reviews much, so please read carefully. Tony Petrina was great, the Jaime (finance person) was great, and the car is exactly what I had been looking for. Thanks for all the time and help Tony Petrina. As my grandfather use to always say, "you are a gentleman and a scholar." Of course that's what he said when he wasn't telling us grandkids to "go play in the traffic." If you made it to the bottom of this, congrats. The long and the short of it, the next time you are thinking of a new car, give Tony Petrina at Toyota of Tacoma a call or text. Cheers, Matt – 2012 Toyota Corolla(manual) More
Our Sales people Sam and Rena informed us they did not do markups. We were very excited to come in and put down a order for a Sienna. However when we arrived to put down our deposit they informed us that the markups. We were very excited to come in and put down a order for a Sienna. However when we arrived to put down our deposit they informed us that their were $7300 in dealer add-ons (consisting of a window tint, and a software update for the break lights). We got our hopes up and wasted a good deal of time driving in for a bait and switch. These types of sales people are why their are stereotypes of car salesmen being xxxx. More

They insisted on $6k of added dealer installed options that they would not remove. Due to limited availability of the car we wanted we agreed to put down a $500 deposit that was supposedly refundable until they had a VIN for us. 2 months later, they gave us a VIN, but it turned out to be different than on the car we eventually received. After a Jan 5th initial sales visit, we finally received a car in late May. Then the poor service started. We were told the service department would contact us in 5 to 10 business days to schedule the dealer installed options. After ALMOST 4 WEEKS we called and demanded to be scheduled. The dealer options department called us after 3 or 4 days of badgering our salesman and scheduled it 1.5 weeks out. We told them we were leaving town on a certain day and they said they would be done the day before. Their dealer options department failed and we got the car 2 days late, delaying our trip. No apology, and our assigned service agent didn't even have the xxxxx to be there for our pickup. They had a some other employee give it to us who had little info for us. Subsequent research shows reputation scores for Larson sales and service are super low and we have learned our lesson. Would not recommend this dealer for sales or service. Also, our salesman was fired shortly after we got our car. Deservedly in our opinion. More
We purchased a vehicle and as soon as we drove it off the lot the airbag notification came on. We immediately took it back for repairs which was pretty easy and quick they took the vehicle in right away. Aft lot the airbag notification came on. We immediately took it back for repairs which was pretty easy and quick they took the vehicle in right away. After that it was dead silent, no updates and they just kept saying we don't know how long it would take. The service manager had horrible communication and basically no one gave a S@#*. We will never buy or recommend someone going here. They are very nice when you want to buy and take your money after that you are on your own even if they sell you a vehicle with faults. More
