We have had our cars serviced with Larson Ford for over 15 years. We are always happy with the service they provide. They are thorough, professional, and honest in their dealings. However, they have recently begun to charge a surcharge for using a credit card. We brought our car in for a routine oil change, but they pointed out that we were due for a tuneup. We generally follow their recommendations because it has meant our cars last us much longer. So we agreed to have the tuneup done. The only option was then to pay for the service using a credit card. We don’t regularly carry $500 or more In cash. I don’t think most customers would be paying for major service or repairs in cash. That additional surcharge really adds onto an already costly bill.
