Nice car, though a few complaints about the sales process I received a fair price on the vehicle I wanted (Jetta Sportwagen TDI) from Larry H. Miller. Steve was very friendly and responsive to my emails before I came into the dealership. The fit and finish of the vehicle are everything that I hoped for. However, there were a couple of niggles during the sales process: 1. It took the dealership over a week to ship the vehicle from another dealer in New Mexico. 2. Even though I purchased the vehicle in cash, I was still asked to fill out a credit application in order to make sure that I was “not a terrorist.” I understand that under the requirements of the Patriot Act, dealers are required to run such a background check involving purchases in cash worth more than $10,000. (Even still, I am not sure whether a credit application is the proper tool for this). However, this applies only to literal cash payments or money orders. Since I was paying with a check, this kind of reporting should not have applied to me. 3. The finance salesperson, Kyle, gave me a long hard sell on the dealership extended warranty. I had decided before I came to the dealer that I did not want to purchase such a policy. I let Kyle know that nothing he could say would change my mind, and I wanted to proceed to signing the final contract. He told me that it was his “job” to offer this sales pitch, and I would just have to sit through it. I understand that the dealer makes a lot of money on selling these extended warranties, and the salesman has a strong incentive to up sell me on the warranty. But it would be refreshing if the salesman would respect my time by not making me sit through such a long sales pitch when I have already made up my mind. More

Appointment at 1:00. Car stood outside until 2:00. The reason for my appointment was to get a new battery installed. Was told it would take 40 minutes to one hour at time of appointment. Do you want to replace it today? Was them told it would be a few more minutes and the car would be ready. Was finally given the car keys at 4:27 as I paid my charges of 186.87. No "sorry for the wait, thanks for choosing us, call with any problems or concerns...nothing. I originally purchased my car at Camelback Volkswagon in Phoenix and will be driving the 125 miles to this dealership to have any other maintenance done. What a joke of a dealership Larry Miller is. For some reason they could not access my car under the Volkswagon network to see the previous maintenance ALWAYS done at Camelback to see if my old Volkswagon battery was under in type of warranty. I need to bring in written proof from Camelback Phoenix!! More

My husband and myself had been doing research on cars for about a month before we decided to go look at Volkswagen of Tucson. Mind you I looked online almost daily to try and find a car in our price range an about a month before we decided to go look at Volkswagen of Tucson. Mind you I looked online almost daily to try and find a car in our price range and was very happy to see there were a few. My husband and I went in and immediately Michael was right there helping us look for a car that suited our needs. He was never pushy about a car that we didn't want or pushing us to spend more. Now our credit is not the best and we were having a tough time trying to find a lender and wait for about 2 days before my husband became anxious and decided to go down and see what was going on. We were very lucky we did because during those 2 days Michael, Tim and their financing team worked very hard to find a lender with a reasonable interest so we were able to leave with a car! I'm very pleased with the service and courtesy we were shown. I look forward to going back and purchasing another vehicle from them! More

Ken was never pushy answered my questions and I didn't feel pressured at all. At the end bought myself a car and bought my son a car also. I would definately recommend Tucson Volkswagen and Ken again. Also The finance manager I believe his name was Sean was also very helpful and would recommend him as well. Needed some minor repair on one car and service staff (Heinz and brandon) got me what I needed. More

From start to finish we were guided through the process of choosing and purchasing the right car for us. Our visit to Tucson Volkswagen met or exceeded our expectations for a pleasant experience. We were interested in the brand new 2013 Jetta Hybrid. The cost of various options was laid out, but the process was always driven by what we were interested in, not what the dealer might want us to take off the lot. The test drive allowed us the opportunity to get a feel for the combined electric motor and gasoline engine on accelerating. Likewise, we could experience the regenerative braking which is more sensitive than the brakes I had on my old Jetta. Once we agreed on price, the paperwork that followed was straightforward and explained at every step. Now that we've had the car for a few days, we are thrilled with its fit and finish, the responsiveness of the road feel and handling, the power when needed to accelerate, but also the gauges that display fuel consumption and mileage, how light or heavy the "throttle" and the simplicity of the dashboard console, switches, and readouts. The controls are intuitive. There were no unpleasant surprises and the car behaves as advertised. All in all, a very positive experience! More
