Oil Change They always recommend things I don’t need for my car. They have also tried to sell me an alignment saying my wear patterns where off and when they write up the inspection sheet they mark them all the same and in green. More

They have always worked closely with my warranty companies to provide me the best service. Service advisor David refused to honor agreement i was offer Went into Avondale VW service center last minute for an oil change. Barbara, the serrvice manager has been great to let me bring my own oil and filte Went into Avondale VW service center last minute for an oil change. Barbara, the serrvice manager has been great to let me bring my own oil and filter and she would charge me $15 to change my oil. Since she did this gesture of kindness for me so i have taken my passat there for repair services. May 13th, i stopped in and met a service advisor named david (may or may not be his real name. My guess is not his actual name) I mentioned i didnt have an appt but was willing to give him whatever time was needed to get my oil changed, no problem. He enters my VIN # in his system to bring up my acct info and prints out an invoice for $35 (2 and a half times more than Barbara would have charged). I told him Barbara only charges me $15. He could see that on his computer screen then tells me in a very snide, rude and unprofessional tone "well maybe you should come back monday and see Barbara, i wont honor barbara's price of an oil change for $15. Wrong answer David! Over a $20 bill, you just lost all other service business, and any intention i had to continue working with your sales team to buy another VW. Congratulations! More

Battery issue I came in to purchase a car for my wife and ended up trading in my Challenger to get me a car also. The deal took forever to get done. Paperwork had to be signed several times because of the lack of communication with finance department. They offer to put gas in my car for the inconvenience but it the principal of get the paperwork done the right way the first time. The finance department at the dealership fail to offer me other coverage that would have prevented me spending more money out of pocket. Then after 2 and a half months later my battery goes out on my Volkswagen Passat. I have it towed to the dealership and they look Examined the battery and other components that may be an issue just to later say your battery need to be replaced. Now this is a used 2014 Passat but it only had 17k miles on it and there no way that this battery should have went out. They offer a reduce rate for the battery which was still ridiculous high. What should have been done is replaced the battery at no charge. After this experience with Larry H Miller im never going to buy a car from them again. Poor communication within the departments in the dealership and even worst between the customers. The service manager Matt told my wife over the phone that the battery would be 185 and later when we got to the service dept to pick up the battery it was more than he stated. I also told them that a another volvowagen dealership had the same battery with setup for 185 in Scottdale. He completely overlooked it and stated this is the price we charge. More
No a/c in the Arizona Heat...no bueno! I've been taking my car here for regular oil changes and have been happy with that service. Kyle Smith is always pleasant and helpful. However, when I decided to have my a/c fixed here, the results weren't so great. After repairs were made I picked up my car and was told everything was fixed, checked and in working order. I drove my car straight home and parked it, and didn't drive it again until the next day and found that the air was hot again. I called Kyle immediately and was told to bring the car back in. Due to my work schedule I wasn't able to take it in until a week later. After the second go round, I am now being told the condenser has a leak and of course it is going to cost more money. If the refrigerant leaked out the very same night I picked my car up, then it is my opinion it was misdiagnosed or not fixed properly the first time. I was told on Wednesday that a Manager would be calling me today to discuss and as of yet, I have not received a call. I'm very upset that Larry Miller Volkswagen got my money, yet I don't have working a/c in my car. Just for reference, the temperature yesterday (4/6) at 3 pm when I left work was 98 degrees. I had to drive in rush hour traffic for a hour and half to get home...WITH NO A/C! More
