Dear Frank, We apologize you're having mechanical failures on your 2006 RAV4. As part of our multi-point inspection, we found the oil to be at normal levels. We did not change the oil. As you stated it , prior to your visit to our dealership. Therefore, you declined us changing the oil. Please note, there could have been some warning signs that your son may have noticed; the oil pressure indicator would be low, a warning light, possible noise engine, and burning smell from the engine area. Unfortunately, you purchased the vehicle from a private party with a pre-existing condition, before your service done with us back in July. it's impossible to burn 5 quarts of oil for less than two months since my last service with Larry H. Millers. The cost to fix your lack service mistake is $7,200 and you offered $700 discount, which is really nothing. if your mechanic really checked the oil this problem wouldn't happened. I give you an open check to fix everything wrong with the car and you charged me $2535.00 just that visit alone.
