The staff at Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise were very kind. They made sure that all of my needs and questions were met. They kept me informed via text messages and phone calls. They were willing to have my car on-hold as I took time to asses my options, and once I gave them the go-ahead to work on my car, the repair took less than one day. The repair cost was even less than the initial quote. I am very satisfied with my experience and I will definitely return there for future service. While waiting for my repair, a member of the sales team took time to show me all of the new Subaru’s available for sale, even though he knew I was not looking to buy a car. I appreciated it very much because I enjoyed learned about the new cars. More
slick I show up at a random time, the door goes up, I drive in, say "hello, service," walk away, spend 30 minutes on the phone in a corner of the showroom, I show up at a random time, the door goes up, I drive in, say "hello, service," walk away, spend 30 minutes on the phone in a corner of the showroom, and the same guy who greeted me finds me, walks in with the completed paperwork, takes me through it and answers my questions, points me to the car (all washed up), thanks me and walks away. Extremely poor service Had some work done including coolant system service. Immediately upon driving noticed loud fan on all the time, but we live 3 hours away. Decided to wait until I could get back to Boise and do it along with next oil change. Based upon the information on the website, decided to go with Express Oil Change, non-appointment and just mention the loud fan, assuming it was a small fix and clearly based upon something they had done at last appointment. Service dept was very clear that they did not see the loud fan, and apparent also car engine running hot as anything at all to do with their coolant system service and also knowing I had driven 3 hours to get there, could not fit me in that day or the next day just to look at it. Our internet research tells us that it is very likely that they did not "burp" the system so we will be taking it in locally to ask them to look at it and burp the system Worst part is the not being willing to look at it knowing I chose to drive to Boise 3 hours to go to Larry Miller (I could go to Twin instead) and last service was with them, and I think they also would have known that the symptoms fit with not burping the coolant system. Really you can't take 20 minutes in the next 2 days to look at the car and feel no responsibility to make sure that the work was done correctly. I WILL NOT BE BACK. A smiley face does not hide what is really going on. More
