I was just trying to buy a used car from them for 60k. They offered me money for my trade in and left me with a $5,800 difference which I thought was too big at the time. He(Aidan) asked if $500 would mak They offered me money for my trade in and left me with a $5,800 difference which I thought was too big at the time. He(Aidan) asked if $500 would make any difference and I said no. I crunched numbers at home and told them the next day that I would do the deal with $500 off. They told me that they didn't really offer that and were just asking if it made a difference. So I moved over $5000 and they reneged on their offer and moved zero. In addition they told me that their used car manager was upset at them for the offer they made on my car but yesterday they told me that their used car manager is the one who would appraise it. I told them that and they said, "oh, well he did appraise it". Here is a thought, just tell the truth and it won't be so hard to keep the story straight! Typical used car sales BS and I'd steer clear! More
