I visited the Larry H. Miller Subaru dealership along with several others in my quest for a "new" car. I was mainly looking for a Subaru and I contacted this dealership online through the USAA car buying with several others in my quest for a "new" car. I was mainly looking for a Subaru and I contacted this dealership online through the USAA car buying service. Scott got back with me promptly, recommended ssome cars they had in stock, and we set up an appointment. I test-drove several cars and ended up selecting a great used Subaru Forester, and I feel like I got a good, reliable car for a good price. Scott was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process and I felt that he was very honest as well. I particularly appreciated that he did not try to sell me on any cars that were outside of my stated price range. Everyone else I contacted at this dealership was friendly and helpful as well, and I would recommend them to anyone! More
Buying from a dealership was not our first choice for a used car. We knew what we wanted and thought we would find it on the open market. A month of looking proved us wrong. While "just looking" at Larry Miller Subaru we met Cory Hatch, who educated us thoroughly about the Forester and other Subaru models and encouraged us to drive as many as we wanted. A day or so later we came back in to look at a newly acquired car.Cory was patient, friendly, available, and calm as we decided! No pressure. A few days later we walked back into the dealership and found the car we wanted. Negotiating ( the part I HATE) went smoothly and fairly. We drove away very satisfied customers. We would highly reccommend Larry Miller Subaru. We cannot say enough about the experience with Cory and the whole staff. (nice to see you Lance!!!) More

I was on a very short deadline and was nervous about finding a car that I loved as much as my previous car. The salesman that helped me was Scott Patton. During a quick consult, he carefully listened to what was important to me, my preferences, and what I really needed out of a vehicle. As soon as I finished telling him what I was looking for, he immediately walked me across the lot and straight up to my beautiful new car. Utilizing his expertise, Scott knew right off the bat that this car was going to be perfect for me and that I would love it, and he was right! For him, it wasn't just a sale for another customer, he wanted to make sure I found a great car that was truly right for me and that fit me perfectly. I can't say enough about Scott's phenomenal customer service, extensive knowledge, and great personality that made buying a car a true joy! More
I had visited the Subaru site and 'built' an Outback and was from that, three different dealerships contacted me. Jeremy Howard was the first to respond. He was free with information and although he did not have the exact thing on hand, he did have one on sale with more options on it. I would love to have had the car with those options but knew that we (being retired) needed to stay on a budget. I explained this to Jeremy and he said the he would get right back to me...AND unlike the other dealerships, this man did. He made me an offer on my trade-in and worked with finances to see to it that I got the monthly payment amount that I had suggested to him. I had been contacted by another dealership but they were not giving me any information. They strung me along with promises for three days until they admitted that they did not have the car on their lot but would get it in 'a few days'. They made promises of low prices but the way they were dealing with me made me suspicious of them. They never gave me a price for the car, a trade-in amount, a finance percentage or any other information other than it was red with a black cloth interior. I had all of this information immediately from Jeremy at Larry Miller's Subaru in Boise! Jeremy had told me right away what the options were on your car, what the price was, what I could expect on a trade-in, financing percentages, etc. Sharp young man! Seeing how differently Subaru dealerships could be with perspective customer's I decided that I wanted to deal with some one so open and so helpful. We were able to trust Jeremy immediately and to feel confident with our purchase and your dealership. We will RAVE about your dealership because of the great experience with your people! Mark was able to get us the extended warranty at a price that even I had to agree to. We drove home smiling all the way in this beautiful and affordable Subaru. We were so concerned about getting a car with great gas mileage and friends who have owned Subaru's for years had been raving about theirs. We stopped at the gas station in Gooding where we lived and filled up that brand new Subaru and realized that we got 35 1/2 miles per gallon on the trip home from Boise. Great Scot! We were astounded! To sum up, because of Jeremy's attention to us, his pleasant direct manner, his sharing information and not wasting a second getting it to us, making a deal we could not refuse!!! we chose to drive to Boise to see the car he had in mind for us and from there met Mark who also a very talented and sharp young man. We are grateful to have met both of their aquaintance's and are grateful to your dealership for the deal we were able to make there. Your business will always be the first place for us to stop when shopping for a car and also will be the first place we will HIGHLY recommend to others we find shopping for a car. My 2008 Mazda B2300 pickup had a cab A/C temperature control problem; it would only allow heat, no cooling. It was cold outside, so this was not a big deal, but would become an issue as the weather war control problem; it would only allow heat, no cooling. The service group troubleshot the problem to a failed electric actuator that would no longer adjust hot and cold airflow. Service ordered a new part and installed it after it arrived. It worked perfectly! I also noticed a noisy engine drive belt when I took the pickup in for the temperature control service. The service team found the noisy belt and replaced it. I didn't purchase my pickup at Larry Miller's dealership, but the service team treats me as if I did. Mazda is not this dealership's major brand, but they have the technical knowledge and expertise to do an excellent job of maintaining and servicing my Mazda. It runs better now than it ever has! I trust their workmanship, and know that they stand behind the quality of their service. More

We knew exactly what we wanted, a Cross Trek, and Harmon simply guided us through the process of purchasing our car and ordering the desired accessories without pressuring us or trying to tell us we wanted something else. It was love at first drive and only a few tears were shed over the trade-in. Along with the rest of the team involved in our purchase, Harmon was very polite and respectful, knew the features of the car well and spent extra time helping to familiarize us with each feature. We felt appreciated for choosing a Subaru and provided our experience with a new Subaru is as good as our experience with our older used Subarus, we will happily continue as a part of the Subaru family. We first used their internet site to find the car we wanted, then traveled to the dealership to work with a great sales individual. He was very friendly, knowledgable and wasn't the usual pushy type that you would normally find at other dealerships. My wife and I decided to buy that car, and I will never doubt our decision to go to Larry Miller Subaru. If you are in the market for a new car, Larry Miller should be your first stop! More

The process moved along with Neil trying to work a dealer trade, with Oregon dealers, for an upgraded WRX Wagon. That did not come to fruition, so we fell back to a WRX that was due to come on a January 2nd delivery to Larry Miller. The weather played a part by being so severe that delivery did not happen until a week later. However, I thought that Neil kept me informed regarding when the vehicle might show up. My one area of concern was financing; initially I was told that Larry Miller could finance me at a 2.25% rate. At the time of purchase I was given a 2.90%. I was told that my credit rating was poor and that was the reason for the higher rate. I did call Idaho Central Credit Union and spoke to one of the workers. She said that my credit was a "B rating" and I would qualify for the 2.29% rate. I intend to speak with people at my credit union to see if they will be willing to finance the vehicle, or have Larry Miller work with Idaho Central to lower the rate to 2.29%. When I did pick-up the car, Neil introduced me to several Larry Miller employees who would service the car. Also, a couple of "gifts" were given to me. Neil sat in the car and went through a tutorial on several of the technology features. I was quite pleased with the overall experience of buying a vehicle through Larry H. Miller. I will certainly continue to negotiate with either Idaho Central, or my Credit Union, to find a rate that I should qualify for. My understanding is that Larry H. Miller finance people will need to contact Idaho Central for this to happen. So, the car is great, the sales person, Neil, was also excellent. The one sour spot was finance. This was probably of my own doing due to my need to get the deal done and drive away in my new car. More
