Don't waste your time with shopping online at Larry H. Miller Nissan in Mesa. I was contacted by "Ollie', one of the sales agents at dealership, and after exchanging a few emails, we spoke on the phone to Miller Nissan in Mesa. I was contacted by "Ollie', one of the sales agents at dealership, and after exchanging a few emails, we spoke on the phone to go over the 2022 Frontier I built out on the Nissan build website. He tried to push me towards a different color, and configuration (more expensive) which I wasn't interested in. 'Ollie' said he was going check the inventory out in the Nissan system and call me back in a few minutes. When he did get back to me, he said there was one on order, but it wasn't available yet, but it was close to my configuration and had an MSRP that was in the range of what I wanted to spend? I gave him detailed information on my trade-in, and he threw out a number that Kelly Blue Book was showing. He said that they couldn't make a firm offer until I brought the trade-in so it could be inspected by their appraiser, so he scheduled a 9am appointment for today (2/26/2022) to meet him, have my trade-in appraised, and write up the deal. My wife and I arrived about 20 minutes early, asked for 'Ollie' and was told he wasn't in yet. We walked around the lot to validate the color and interior colors, to make sure we were happy with our choice. When 9am rolled around, 'Ollie' still wasn't there so one of the other sales agents took our information and keys for our trade-in, so it could be apprised. The sales agent and the inventory manager came over and told me that the vehicle 'Ollie' was ordered, but not yet built, so they didn't expect to receive it until late April or early May. They also said that they shopped my trade around and the best they could offer was $2.5K under what 'Ollie' quoted over the phone. Please note, they DO NOT pay or offer Kelly Blue Book trade-in prices like I was told so don't let them try to con you into believing they would. This will only waste your time by showing up at the dealership, tell you the real value, and then hope you really want the vehicle and will settle for less. My wife and I walked. I hate it when a company pulls this BS and makes an appointment, doesn't show up for it, and because they promised you the moon, isn't there to back up their deal, and makes other employees look like the bad guy, but because they are an auto dealer, I kind of expected them to pull crap like this. More
