On another point you should leave the user name as the email address. It is one less thing for me to remember and I will probably not remember my login when I want to schedule another service etc. etc.. I am not that interested in registering in another web site. I gave Larry H Miller GREAT ratings in all categories as a result of my recent experience. I did not buy the Altima at this dealership; bought it used from a private party. I had the car delivered to Larry H Miller for a inspection prior to my accepting the car although I had committed to buy it. Ken Mack worked with me to arrange for a Nissan certification inspection. I was impressed with Ken's professionalism and the fact that he remembered me from a service visit a number of months prior, the price of the inspection and the condition of the car when I picked it up....fresh wash job; looked like it had been detailed. I had the vehicle serviced at the same time; was able to use a discount coupon I had received from a Nissan dealer in Illinois where I had my previous vehicle in for emergency service. I experienced a starting problem with the Altima; needed to be jump started twice in two weeks. I suspected the battery as the problem but upon internet blog research I learned of another possible problem; failed steering wheel lock motor. I phoned the dealership late on a Saturday afternoon to inquire about the issue and was directed to Gene Meadows. Gene had several suggestions as to what I might check to try to pinpoint the problem. He provided his direct telephone number and asked me to call him Monday morning to discuss the issue again. It was not convenient for me to call Ken on Monday. He called my home to follow up on the issue. Meantime I had virtually identified the battery as the problem. We made an appointment to bring the vehicle in later in the week. Upon arrival Ken met me and started the procedure; Gene joined us and completed the paperwork. The battery was tested, electrical system tested and confirmed the battery had failed. At 21,700 miles and 29 months of service I left the dealership with a new battery at No Charge and another complimentary wash job. While I waited for the service I observed the service writers updating other customers as to the progress of their respective service issues. Gene kept me updated as to the progress on my car also. The appearance of the dealership, comfortable waiting lounge, friendly attentive sales people, excellent customer service and the delivery of more than I expected speaks very well for this dealership. Even though we arrived early, the service department took us right away. Both our initial contact with service personnel and our subsequent contact with our service liaison, Derek, were top-notch. I drove by the Maxima on my way to Schomp BMW where I was test driving a 535 - the look of the car caught my eye enough to go online. After a test drive, some more homework, I engaged in a quick and painless round of negotiations with Greg and John. We were already at a fair price for the vehicle, so after minimal additional concessions I shook hands and picked up the car - it is a great vehicle. I think John crossed me up with some quick talking for a few hundred bucks at the end, so let him know I'll remember that on the next purchase and he can "owe" me one! I feel I got a great deal and that is a compliment, not a complaint - he's good and you guys have a great facility. Gene greeted me right away when I entered the service area. Not finding me in the computer he set about getting me what I had come in for. They didn't want to tell me the interest rate for their financing option right away, so I went home. Got the APR info later that night, I came back to this dealer with my wife to make a purchase of this new car several days later because I had to be out of town for my job for several days. I communicated with this sales person several times to make sure that this deal is not a fake and I would actually come back to buy it. Well, I did come back with my wife, what we found was, " oh, that particular car with that price was just sold. Ones available is $2000 more." I was told a day prior was, several different vehicle with different colors available with that low price. We completely wasted our time and effort with this dealer. They never apologized nor follow ups either. Extremely disappointed. I will never, ever come back to this dealer and I will never recommend this dealer to anyone. More
