We live in an age where human contact and personal service is but a distant memory for most of us. Like Grandma’s homemade bread baking in the oven and families actually gathering around a table to have a supper that Mom made. It was once a reality for all of us, but so long lost in this day it is a memory that is hard to capture. Like mist on a lake. Today we have to fight for things. Today we move through life at breakneck speed. We have to rush through our days, getting food shoved through car windows, give and receive instant messages and are forced to deal with computer generated voices instead of human ones and do daily battle in whatever manner one deems the most shrewd. It is rare indeed to have the good fortune of dealing with a solid business with real people, looking to do an honest dealing that does not deceive, cheat or swindle the buyer. Our new car purchase with Larry Miller NIssan was a joyous return to what we had believed was commerce of days gone by. Lisa and John spent many hours with Lance and I. We were not pushed or pressured. They negotiated honestly and were the deep listeners we needed. These two individuals did not just hear our words, they listened to our situation and were the incubators of raw ideas and co-creators of a fair deal.
