We bought our vehicle in 2019. Recently the vehicle had an issue where is would shut down while moving. Fortunately it happened in a parking lot. Schedule an appointment with the dealership and found out it’s the battery. This is where I am annoyed. Dealership could have just given me the options but instead, they claimed they wanted to warranty the battery since we had such low mileage and it was less than 90 days out of warranty. This would have been awesome however…they told me that this battery is back ordered so we would have to leave the vehicle with them until they got a replacement battery, but could not tell us when they would get one. Could be a day or 2 or a month. Why the F would you even do this knowing full well we cannot leave the vehicle here. Then they quoted me 395 plus tax for the batter…what??? I call them out and the lady said well her parts department wanted almost 500. But we’re gonna give it to me at their cost. This is where I was lied to. They said the battery from orielly auto parts was 315.00. I had already priced batteries. I said I would bring a battery. Total cost with core fee 286.09 with a 22.00 core charge. So it clearly was not their “cost” them claiming they would like to warranty the battery as a courtesy was a lid of crap too. We had been discussing trading our sante Fe in for a newer model and would probably have done that here however after the blatant lies and “games” Larry H Miller has lost any future business from my family and I will be copy pasting this review on yelp, Google, bbb, states AG office and the FTC. If you can go to a different dealership I would highly advise it. I went from being a happy client to completely losing all faith in this dealership. They could have just said it’s the battery, I already knew it was out of warranty. Instead of pretending to “want to warranty” the problem. But you have to leave your vehicle here for an unknown amount of time. Knowing that most people don’t have that option. Then follow it up with obvious lies. Seriously people can literally look up costs online. This service department is clearly Shady and should be avoided. I’m calling other dealerships now about the trade in and subsequent purchase of a new vehicle. UPdated to 3 start as the service manager reached out and followed up. I will re-review once I hear back and follow through happens. The conversation was good and productive. And they hopefully will learn from this experience More
I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received from Alexandria White. She greeted me as I pulled into the service garage, reviewed the 7500 mile service they would be preforming and answered my q from Alexandria White. Not realizing a wash I was included in the service I had my car washed before driving over from Chandler. I asked if the scratches on my door caused by my pup could be buffed out and what I needed to use to do it. Alexandria said she noticed them when I drove in, if the guy that buffed out scratches was in that day, she would ask him to work on it. He was and she did!. My car Palisades is beautiful again! I was only there 1 hour and she gave me updates as I waited. The sales and service at Larry Miller Hyundai Peoria are outstanding! More
Had to take my car in for service and I'm always worried when taking my car to the dealer but my service advisor Mark Castleman was awesome, to say the least. He assured me everything would be done right a when taking my car to the dealer but my service advisor Mark Castleman was awesome, to say the least. He assured me everything would be done right and if still under warranty he let me know before he did the work.
