My 2022 Genesis GV80 is 9 months old. For the past few months, my vehicle had been stalling while driving - losing all power while driving in traffic with my family in the vehicle. It has taken a number of months to get this issue resolved on my new vehicle by the dealership. I had to contact Genesis Corporate to intercede to get the dealership to act. Meanwhile I was stuck in a vehicle that was not safe to drive, because Genesis would not provide a loaner vehicle. Eventually, I learned that Hyundai recalled the 2021 G80 and GV80 due to fuel system issues: https://www.cars.com/research/genesis-gv80-2021/recalls/ The Service Department replaced some components of the fuel system and now my new 2022 vehicle is operating as expected. At the point the dealership was compelled to reassess the vehicle and provide a loaner, the service experience was very good. However, getting the dealership to act took quite an effort. Ashleigh has always been excellent at her job and she is showing Josh how to perform at a high level as well. Management at Larry H. Miller Genesis should have taken this issue more seriously considering the undisclosed safety recall just one year prior. More

The necessary repair was correctly accomplished and a reasonably good car wash was done. I felt rushed to sign and leave, every comment I made or question I asked was interrupted or dismissed. The owners manual says the very expensive tires should be rotated at 8000 miles. I asked why this wasn’t done at the first service and was told we don’t do that. Now over 17000 miles and still not done even once? Does the dealership have the right to simply decide to not do a particular part of the documented required services? Guess I’ll have to pay to have it done but I’ll remember it when shopping for our next vehicle. The final document I received mentions providing and discussing an inspection sheet which didn’t happen. More

Took my Gv70 in for service on 8-31 for scheduled maintenance. The sticker the dealership put on the windshield said next service due 10,600. The vehicle had 11,100 miles on it. I had been receiving emails and notices on my vehicle screen that service was due. After a 90 minute drive to dealership I was informed that service was not due in 13,000 miles. Fortunately I had purchased one free oil change when I purchased the car so used it rather than drive back again in a few months. I sent an email to the dealership and received an electronic response that I would be contacted by the dealership. Was never contacted. I have had my two Genesis in a total of three times and in each case service interval was not reset so by the time I got home received an email that service was due. Excellent service from buying the car at LMH to getting it serviced. I have a Genesis dealer very close to me BUT I choose to make the extended trip to Larry Miller because of their customer service. Miller Genesis, they were able to replicate the issue "three times", according to the Service Department. But because no "error code" or "trouble code" was generated, they returned the vehicle to me. The Service Department offered that other GV80 owners were having a similar issue. I made multiple contact attempts to Management at Larry H Miller Genesis (Rick Trinkl, Robert Smith) without response in order to get their Service Department to take this matter seriously. I contacted Genesis Corporate and got a response. Genesis Corporate spoke to a person in the Larry H. Miller Genesis Service Department who said that they were NOT able to duplicate the issue. Hmm. So I sent my Invoice to Genesis Corporate as the invoice documented that the Service Department stated that they were able to replicate the issue. Genesis Corporate has been dealing with the retailer on my behalf in order to get this serious matter resolved. I’m very disappointed in the poor level of service from this dealership and their lack of care related to this serious matter. More
