I told Hamid exactly what I was looking for not really thinking it was possible. Then Hamid found me the perfect truck, was very knowledgeable, upfront, and truthful and answered every question resulting in a very quick and gratifying visit to Lakewood Fordland. The next day, financing went great with Jay and he was able to work out the details in a short time without a lot of haggling. Upon my first visit back for maintenance & service Tony & Hamid were very helpful and friendly. Both ensured my truck received the additional upgrades and all maintenance requirements ahead of schedule. I have never had a better truck or service. Thanks, More

I purchased a 2007 F250 from AJ Franks. My experience with him was very good. He listened to me and was up front about offers and submitted my offer even thugh he thought it was too low. There were a couple of minor repair items that needed to be addressed and AJ worked with me to get them included in the sales deal. He helped me scedule my repairs and that is where my nightmares began. I scheduled my appointment to have repairs done a week in advance and dropped my truck off for the repairs. I was given a loaner car which was nice and was under the impression it would be for a single day. At 430 that evening i called to check the status only to be told they just ordered the parts and it would be another day. Thenext day was more of the same no communication and delays in gettingmy truck back. I sent a message to the service manager expressing my concern over the lack of organzation and communication. I did hear back from him a week and a half later. Less than a month later my transmission began slipping. I called to schedule an appointment and the service rep didnt ask for any of my information in scheduling the appointment he just said to show up. Feeling the visit would be more of the same and having been told by the finance manager at the time of purchase my warranty was good at any Ford dealer I scheduled service at another dealer. They spent over 10 hours diagnosing a problem trying to keep cost down. They called the warranty company to get approval for a $1300 repair of the transmission computer module only to be told the work is only covered at The Giant Lakewood Fordland. After reading the fine print i found this information on the agreement so shame on me for not reading every word and relying on the word of the dealership. Who knows what other problems I might encounter with this truck and I will be geting the warrany work completed and get rid of the truck as fast as I can. I will certainly buy a vehicle from AJ but only if he works at another dealership. I am very dissatisfied with the service, the honesty and most of all the lack of efforts to earn my approval. There are too many otions to be treated like a number and not a valued customer!!!!!!! Brad Beyette More

From the time I first inquired about the car I was interested in (2012 Ford Focus SEL) through the completion of the purchase, in addition to any follow-up questions and concerns I had, everyone I ha interested in (2012 Ford Focus SEL) through the completion of the purchase, in addition to any follow-up questions and concerns I had, everyone I have talked to and worked with has been personable and helpful. Chad (salesman) was very attentive without being pushy over a process that took almost two weeks to complete. Jay (Finance Manager) was equally as helpful. I spent over two hours in Jay's office, but well over half of that time was spent talking about things other than cars and money. Without their approach and willingness to work with me during this process, I may not be in a car that I love. Thank you Chad and Jay for everything, along with everyone else at Lakewood Fordland! Richard was very helpful and courteous. He had an answer to all our questions and even helped me convince my wife that the used truck we were looking at was a good deal. This is partially our fault however the information received from someone at the dealership wasted time and money. When we deposited the money into our checking account to buy a used vehicle we were not aware the bank put an extended hold on the certified check we had deposited. A few days later we paid Lakewood Ford by personal check and a few days after that the checked bounced. Naturally the next day the funds became available and I immediately noticed this on our account. I called the dealership and I spoke to a young man who's name I have forgotten but I specifically asked if they would re-run the check. After being on hold for a few minutes I was told it is their policy to not run the check again and that I would need to bring a certified check to the dealership to clear up the issue. I took time off of work to head to the bank for a certified check and then to the dealership. I spoke to the Sales manager to explain the situation and presented him with the certified check. He had me sit in is office for quite some time before returning and getting me a receipt of payment. He explained the hassle this has caused them since they will now see 2 payments for the vehicle and he will need to void one. As I was in traffic on my way home I received a phone call from the Sales manager who thought I should know that they will in fact run the original check a second time. I explained to him what I was told and that he could have told me when I was in there. Now that I have given them the money I would then receive another returned check fee. He had nothing more to say. We did in fact receive a second returned check fee a couple of days later. When we bought the truck we were told the FORD truck had been through an inspection at the FORD dealership and any issues were already fixed. I have now found many things were either fixed temporarily or was not looked at. Mirrors, windows and doors all have issues. One issue in particular is the A/C. I tested it before we purchased the rig but there has to be a leak somewhere since we tried to use it 2 months after we bought it and it no longer cools. I figure the dealership filled the system but didn't bother to look for a leak. After a few months they are now hounding us to write a review about our experience.
