With him it was not about just making the sale.It was about us as people and what worked for us. and that the best thing you can ask someone for when working in a sales environment . I have already referred 4 people as of yesterday to the dealership to see him. And will keep doing so because of the experience. Thank you Dan Price and Larry miller ford for the perfect car buying experience. More
Good Experience This was my first experience buying a car and it definitely was a pleasant one. I went in because my mom requested information online back in December This was my first experience buying a car and it definitely was a pleasant one. I went in because my mom requested information online back in December when my old pickup was stolen. My truck was eventually recovered and I thought I could restore it back to where I wanted it. The sales person assigned to the lead was persistent in contacting my mom (who lives in California) and I finally decided to go into the dealership because I realized it would take too much time and money restoring my old truck. Also because of the deals the salesperson explained to my mom she called me and got me to go into the dealership to see the salesperson. When I went in I test drove a new '15 F-150. During the initial visit and test drive the sales person was very knowledgable and explained to me all of the features of the new pickup in great detail. She worked with me to get me to the number I wanted. During the first visit I did not buy the truck as I wanted to consult my parents, given this was my first car buying experience. The salesperson did not pressure me into buying it there on the first day and kept in touch with me throughout the next week until I could come back in again. The next weekend, I test drove a certified pre-owned F-150 at another local Denver dealership. I was given a very attractive offer but because of the numbers and the sales job I was given on the new truck I came back to buy that one instead of the certified pre-owned one. Every feature on my new truck was explained to me in detail when I came to buy and pick up the new truck. The salesperson was the reason I went into the dealership in the first place and the reason I ended up buying the new truck instead of a used one at another dealership. Larry H Miller Ford in Lakewood has definitely earned my business because of the great salesperson I worked with and the pleasant experience I had in dealing with them. The only reason I would not give this 5 stars is because of the amount of time I had to spend there. But buying a car is not a quick process and its definitely an endurance game. I would highly recommend anyone to go there in the future when looking at a Ford and ask for Emily, she was the great salesperson I had the pleasure of dealing with. More

This is by far the worst car ever, it has been in the shop 6+ times in under a year!! They are very condescending and don't want to do their jobs, and will not provide a rental even if it is in your warranty package. Go anywhere but here! You will have better luck wishing on a star for your vehicle to get fixed than taking it to this service center! More
Stay away!!! Hidden costs and can't register car!!! I'll share my little story because I got tired of the B.S. So, we bought a used car in October. The initial process was quite painless from the sal I'll share my little story because I got tired of the B.S. So, we bought a used car in October. The initial process was quite painless from the sales side. It went as follows: found a car online, called the internet sales person, she scheduled an appointment, we came in, test drove, like the car, negotiated a final price. So far, so good, and a pleasant experience. Five stars. The nightmare starts from here onward... The Finance person (Chelsea I believe is her name) pushed some B.S. security "feature" they had added to the car costing about $500. According to her "it was like a DNA we add to certain parts of your vehicle that if stolen it can be identified). If my vehicle is stolen, I'll use my insurance and buy another vehicle. I didn't want this. Also, I had initially told the sales person I did not want the feature and she said it was ok (after checking with the sales manager). The Finance person said it was impossible for her to remove the charge because they had already installed this on the car. I threatened to walk out and the sales manager told the Finance person to give an additional discount totaling $500. I don't mind the dealership trying to upsell optional services but to say it's a mandatory cost because it was already "installed" on a used vehicle is pure B.S. Strike one, but so far I was still somewhat content. Rating dropped to 3 stars. Next, another $500 charge for paint protection and other xx I didn't want. Again, not something I wanted nor was told during the sales process. I was not able to remove this once again from my package. It was about 10pm and I was tired, so I caved in but was not happy. Strike two. Rating dropped to 2 stars. As we were signing all the financing documentation we were told we were going to have to come back to sign additional documentation as there was something wrong with the system. I was even less happy. Strike 3 (how many strikes for an out again?). Still 2 stars. We finally went back to sign all the paperwork a couple days later. Although pissed off at their process, we signed all we had to sign and went on our way. Fast forward 3 months... We went to register the car and the DMV could not find the vehicle in their system. The DMV person said if it wasn't in their system it was because the dealership failed to send them the paperwork. The DMV extended our temp tags for 20 days (for $6.20). Strike 4. Rating dropped to 1 star. We called the dealership, got transferred around several times, left a message with someone (should have gotten the name but didn't) and never got a call back. We called the next day, same deal, left a message with Finance person, no answer back. Today, we had to call AGAIN and finally got someone who admitted the dealership made some internal mistake and MAY be able to get it solved before our 20 day extension. The problem? The original owner apparently never signed the title over to them. So, we now "own" a vehicle that technically belongs to someone else. Lovely. Strike 5. Zero stars for Larry Miller Ford. Unfortunately, Yelp doesn't let me five 0 stars. I have placed at least 10 calls this week and NO ONE calls back. My wife also called them and left messages at least 10 times. Even Todd Hoskins who keeps replying to every bad review and asking people to contact him. Summary: Internet sales was good. Finance lady is shady. Operationally, they don't know what the xxxx they are doing and post-sales customer service is not even an afterthought. This reminded me of a time about 8 years ago where I bought a used 350 Z and the sales person and manager offered me $6,000 on my trade in, which blue book'd for $14,000 as a trade-in or $15,500 to a private party. I walked away without saying a word and they called me the next day to offer $11,000 on my trade in. I told them no, thanks. They called again a day later offering what it was worth. The dealership? Larry Miller Nissan. I should have learned the first time around. There, I'm done. If I can help one person by sharing my experience, I'll be happy. Cheers. More

They were very pr Bought a used 2006 F250 at their big sales event. Was repeatedly told how they just rebuilt the entire engine to a tune of $4,000. They were very proud of their work. Drove the truck home to find a massive oil leak, and they broke parts off the engine during the detailing process while we were signing our paperwork. Had to tow the truck back to their shop. The repair to 1 week to fix. The service agreement states they found 87 other various broken parts and fixed them, though they didn't fix the parts they broke while detailing the truck. How were there 87 other broken parts when they just rebuilt the engine?!? Drove it home to find a large coolant leak. Towed back to the shop. All in, the first two weeks with the truck and I had it at home for a few hours each night. Great way to start off. Found more broken parts on the truck and the arrogant service manager tells me they were noted on the original inspection and were not broken recently. I HAVE PHOTOS PROVING OTHERWISE. Had the very impatient service desk attendant print out the original inspection. Definitely did not note the broken parts I listed. If you like your vehicle to run properly for many years, please do not let these guys touch your vehicle. More
Bait and Switch Attempt Josh/Sales Manager called and left me a message stating he had a new truck on their lot with the options I wanted. I was on vacation and dropped every Josh/Sales Manager called and left me a message stating he had a new truck on their lot with the options I wanted. I was on vacation and dropped everything for a 2+ hour drive to this dealership only to find out they never had this vehicle. Upon arrival, Josh handed me off to a Salesperson and never came over to explain why he left the message or to apologize. The day after, I received an email from the General Manager asking about my experience. I responded back with my horrible visit. He too, never responded. Today (9 days later), a female Salesperson called asking if I am still looking for a truck. Really! I told her about the Sales Manager and General Manager and asked that they never contact me again. Here's the transcript of Josh's message. Hey, Scott. This is Josh with Larry Miller Ford one of the sales managers here. I got the information it looks like you're looking to get into an f 350 Lariat obviously in the ruby red give me a call back as soon as you get this. I actually do have that truck sitting on my lot. Bought a great truck from bad dealership I went in to look at a truck I had talked to a sales man about and when I got there the truck had be sold. It was sold before the last time I talked I went in to look at a truck I had talked to a sales man about and when I got there the truck had be sold. It was sold before the last time I talked to the salesman asking if it was still available before I drove 2 hours from work. When I got there the salesman I had been talking with was not available. So the guy that helped me showed me a few similar trucks. I liked one but it was way more than I wanted to spend. He talked me into talking to the manager (Sean) about my trade in and payments. Sean made everything sound good. I had to leave but came back a few days later for the more expensive truck. Sean was not around and the salesman didn't remember anything we had talked about not even the truck. But he acted like he knew everything. Part of my deal was I would get my tires and wheels from my old truck and my exhaust system too. Well after the 2 weeks it took to get my paper work done and I was already driving the new truck. They told me my payment was going to be 875 a month for 72 months and I was ok with that but after it was finall my payment was 995 a month. But my old truck was already sold. I never heard from them to go get the stuff switched for weeks and I tried to get ahold of anybody that I could including the new car manager, used car manager and the GM but never got a call back. Not until they needed it done for my old truck. All the stuff was in the contract. They ended up only changing the tires and they didn't give me my exhaust back at all. And it took them 4.5 hours to switch the tires. I lost half the weights installed and had to get them rebalanced at a tire shop. When I asked why I didn't get my stuff that was in my contract they said the wheel sensors were different and they didn't understand what I meant when I said I wanted my exhaust back. The salesman also told me there was a spare key and there wasn't. They ended up giving me one but it was worse then pulling teeth. The truck has also never been detailed. About a month after having the truck I got a check engine light so I took it to Brighton Ford because it is way closer to me and they said it was due to an update the has been out for over a year. Meaning they never even looked at the truck. Then about 3 months after I get a certified letter from them saying if I didn't bring the truck in within 7 days that my warranty could be void. The letter even said it's because the truck was never inspected. The truck is great but I have never had such a horrible experience with a dealership. More
First time buyer Hello to all persons looking to buy a new vehicle. My name is Ernestine and I just bought my first SUV from this dealership the other day. I have gone Hello to all persons looking to buy a new vehicle. My name is Ernestine and I just bought my first SUV from this dealership the other day. I have gone to several different places and all of them had me feeling a little scared and pressured to buy a car or SUV that I did not want. I went to Rockies Auto and the lady that was helping me there (Julia) was taken away from me in the middle of a showing to help another customer test drive the very same Truck she was going to show me and that alone made me not want to do business with Rockies. That was the point I looked up Larry H. Miller FORD in Lakewood. When I walked in it felt like a very kind and comfortable setting then when I meet my sales rep John Critchfield, he made us feel like we were more then just another customer and we were in control of the visit and he was very attentive to my needs. He put no presser on me to buy something I can not afford and helped me find something that fit my family. At the end I was able to "Ring the Bell". I even got a lifetime supply of car washes. They have a excellent team of people and the willingness to help blew me away! More
Watch out for the Extended Warranty When I originally purchased my car, last March, my experience was FABULOUS! My salesman, Mike Cross, was so accommodating. It took us almost a month When I originally purchased my car, last March, my experience was FABULOUS! My salesman, Mike Cross, was so accommodating. It took us almost a month to find the truck we were looking for. You know how when you are buying cars, the finance guy just keeps passing you papers to sign. You scan them, but don't really READ them - my bad! You trust the guy. I mean, you are spending $75k on a truck, right? I purchased the extended warranty at the cost of $2980. I just found out that it isn't even through Ford. What I can't figure out is when you are at a FORD dealer and they offer you an extended warranty, you just assume it is through FORD. It turns out, it's through some 3rd party. It is only good at Lakewood Ford. Which means, if I break down somewhere I have to call this stupid number (on the back of one of the many papers they give you when you leave) and they decide if they will cover it or not. Ford will not pay to fix the truck. I am so mad and feel that I was scammed. In reality the coverage through Ford, which is good anywhere in the country, is more comprehensive and cheaper. I just feel bad because I have referred this dealership to so many friends because of my great salesman. I am just sorry the Finance Manager, Roger Condon was so deceptive. When dealing with them, don't assume that they are looking at YOUR best interest. More
