Hello, thank you for reviewing your experience. We quote diagnostic charge to diagnose vehicle concerns, this is approved by customers before we complete any diagnosis or repairs. Our technicians are paid to diagnose vehicles which is covered by the initial diagnostic charge. This was not a situation where we plugged a scan tool into the vehicle for trouble codes this diagnosis requires an electrical pin-point component test. Once we determined the failed component we quoted it as $222.40 in labor and $198.37 for the part for a total of $420.77. We are sorry that you feel the pricing is expensive, we do offer 12 months or 12,000 mile warranty on all repairs that we complete, which are also valid at any other Ford dealership. Pissed off customer responded

I was never told or did I approve any $150 diagnostic fee. I was told I needed a part that I ended up not needing and was quoted over $600. I was quoted $309 somewhere else. When I said I would not have the work done there after the fact, I was asked how I'd like to pay my $150 that ended up charging me $150.95. I will never come back there again. I had a friend with the same experience with you all last year. They will also never be returning to your dealership.
