Bought a 2018 F-150 in December. To date have had to replace the alternator, the timing cover gasket and the bearings. Have had the car in the shop more then able to actually use To date have had to replace the alternator, the timing cover gasket and the bearings. Have had the car in the shop more then able to actually use it and over $3000 in repairs. Now the check engine light is on again and being told that requires a new solenoid and cam phasers- but dealership doesn't have the parts and cannot confirm when parts might be available. Reached out repeatedly trying to resolve and the answer is "well it's outside our warranty for a used car, so can't help you". Disgraceful behavior to sell this car with all of these issues and then fall back on the warranty over by less than 1000 miles. Have offered to trade in for what we paid for it plus the repairs and then buy a new car from the dealership and no response from the dealership. Have opened a case with Ford to try to resolve but very upset that we paid a premium price for this truck and now cannot drive it. More
