Ended up at the dealership for over 5 hours and should have been just over an hour. I took my truck in to have the recall taken care of, warranty work on a couple speakers and to have the registration/emi have been just over an hour. I took my truck in to have the recall taken care of, warranty work on a couple speakers and to have the registration/emissions completed. Your techs did the recall, speakers and in doing so reset the computer in turn meant the emissions couldn’t be completed until the truck was driven and all the sensors re-read. They had one of your lot techs drive my truck and did replenish the fuel used and when it was time to pick my truck up, one of the speakers were still bad and needed to be changed out. This is the second bad experience I have had in the last two months. I don’t understand what has changed, but would expect clear expectations to be set with the staff on customer service as we are the ones who keep you in business. I have been, family and friends been purchasing vehicle's from Larry Miller for 25 plus years and not sure if this will be the case moving forward as it is no longer a true Larry Miller, but rather a name now. Worst Ford service department anywhere. A complete and total waste of time taking our Explorer there, not once but twice. Both times we were assured that they had the recall parts in hand A complete and total waste of time taking our Explorer there, not once but twice. Both times we were assured that they had the recall parts in hand and all we had to do is drop it off for the day. Both times ended with the same result, absolutely nothing done, they don't have parts and need to order, not sure who told you otherwise. Best part was this last time when we picked it up and were told that all the recall was completed, just to find out when we got in the vehicle that nothing was done. Went back inside to ask why and got the same BS response that they didn't have parts and didn't know when they would get any, even though 2 days before they claimed to have them. The real kicker was the service advisors attitude, telling us we can't expect them to have parts on hand with no offer of apology or assurance that parts were coming and we would be contacted as soon as they arrived. Time to find a better dealership that at least cares about their customers. More
