We kept getting the same response which was basically: The demand for the new Pilots is high, we don't expect to receive one in the trim and color that you want in the near future but if you order one we should be able to get one by next spring. I called Larry Miller Honda and spoke with Bud Sebens. He said that he didn't have one in stock nor was one expected to arrive in the near future. But he said that he would like to do a nationwide search and get back to me in an hour. In less than an hour he called back and said that he found one that was going to Boston that he might be able to trade for and said that he would get back to me the following day once he got confirmation from the other dealerships. He called me the following day and gave me an ETA. Bud kept us up to date as we waited and researched all of the background information that we requested on our options. He offered to pick me up from the airport on a Sunday and did so. He had everything prepared when I arrived so that I could complete the paperwork and start my drive back to Seattle.
