I purchased my 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe from here in June 2022, and I’ve had nothing but issues since then. I’ve had to get the oil changed / added literally every single month since I got it. It never leaked oil, but I was told it was “bone dry” each time - so, it was definitely xxxxxxx up oil somewhere and somehow. A few weeks ago, the check engine light came on and the whole car started to sputter and shake. October 3 2022, I took it in and they “fixed” it by giving me yet another oil change (making it a total of 4 oil changes) and changing the spark plugs. When I asked the mechanic at the dealership if he knew why it was doing what it was doing and if he knew exactly where the oil was going, he said word for word, “No, but we want you drive it around and we’ll see what happens, and go from there.” October 22 2022, I was driving through Snoqualmie Pass to visit family when the check engine light came on again and the whole car started to sputter even worse than the first time it did it a few weeks ago. It’s currently at a different mechanic in Kirkland that actually knows what he’s doing - he says the spark plugs that were just replaced are already bad, there’s no oil, and it needs a new engine because the oil rings on the piston are bad. He figured out in a day what the other mechanic at the dealership couldn’t be bothered with. I’ve tried calling the dealership and even left messages, but haven’t heard back yet and it’s been a week. Very disappointed in the service (or lack there of) that I’ve received from this place. More
