It has been 5 years since my last visit. Wouldn't use them again. I took my truck in for service. The work they did was fine. The service rep Tony was very nice. I do have an issue with every service department: Why is it that the person shuttling the cars around or mechanics, have to adjust the seat and everything else in the cockpit for the 30 seconds they are going to be in the vehicle. On this particular occasion, who ever was shuttling my vehicle didn't like the fact that I have to have the lumbar support engaged and twisted the knob right off. Breaking the lumbar. Now my truck is 12 years old and I know that things are going to break. Just leave the adjustments alone. After the above incident I had decided not to do business with Larry Miller but in 2024 Ram had a recall so I decided to give them a try. first thing I did was adjust the lumbar so it was fully disengage, different truck and I didn't want them to break this one. I'm thinking it was a good idea since who ever drove it must have been seven feet tall. Anyway, the meat of this visit. There were actually 2 recalls, one was for a program upgrade and one for an issue with the drag link, which effects the steering. They did the standard vehicle inspection and sent me a quote for 7 issues. One of which was an issue with the alignment. I have been driving this truck for 5 years, been through 2 sets of tires and have never seen any unusual tire wear. Now they are doing a recall job on the steering and want me to pay for an alignment, what? All said and done, they took the alignment off the bill when I pointed out how ludicrous it was. Bottom line, I am done with these guys. More
