Mis-diagnoses of problem, costing me a lot of money. Had a power steering oil leak on my 2006 BR3500 diesel truck. Took it to Larry H Miller on 22nd street for diagnosis and repair. They said it was t Had a power steering oil leak on my 2006 BR3500 diesel truck. Took it to Larry H Miller on 22nd street for diagnosis and repair. They said it was the power steering pump. I had them replace the pump and flush the system. Cost me $1,341.00. When the truck was driven back to Utah three days after picking it up at the dealers, all of the power steering fluid again leaked out, making the truck almost impossible to drive. I took the truck to my mechanic in Utah and they diagnosed the problem as the steering gearbox leaking. So, Larry H Miller mis-diagnosed the problem as it is highly that both the pump and steering gearbox would both be bad at the same time. Now it is going to cost me an additional $650 to have the steering gearbox replaced. I took the truck to a dealer for repair as I though it would get me a quality repair. I was wrong! More

Well worth the time/effort This wasn't my first rodeo at a dealer; however, it's the first time I believe I was actually taken care of by a dealer. I've been searching for a ne This wasn't my first rodeo at a dealer; however, it's the first time I believe I was actually taken care of by a dealer. I've been searching for a new car and had checked out several of the dealers in the Tucson area. I already knew the car I wanted. I already knew the features I wanted. I already did my research as far as market value of the car. Without fail, every other dealer acted like they were talking to someone who knew nothing about cars... Enter Larry H. Miller Dodge Ram Salesman "Ed K.". This guy was a gentlemen, cordial, and listened. Obviously, it's still a dealership and they are pushing for sales. The difference is, this wasn't an "in your face, we're better than every other dealership, buy buy buy" type of sales pitch. I'd been to SEVERAL dealers in the area that badmouthed other dealers. "Don't buy from those guys. They only do a 122-point inspection. We do a 125-point inspection!" or "Don't buy from those guys; they always gave me a weird feeling - here, take my card!" Ed and several of the sales managers I met didn't do that. They said the benefits of buying from them and kept it simple. They didn't smear other dealers. They didn't smear any type of vehicle (I had encounters with "uh.. seriously? You're interested in THAT car? Here, look at Kia's instead!"). After hours of negotiations, LHM made the sale. They bent over backwards for me (partly because I'm just as pushy) but these guys were actually willing to work with me - not just make the sale. They were able to match trade in values (and actually BEAT it), came down a lot on their price, etc. Ed was the only salesman I dealt with. Wasn't pushy. During negotiations, I met several of the managers and they were equally as helpful/friendly/willing to explain some things. I by no means walked away with a steal, but I walked away very happy with the final price and what they were able to offer me for my trade in. The only reason my Overall rating is a 4/5 is because of the length of time it took for the negotiation. This was NOT Ed's fault. I walked away in the afternoon when we couldn't meet on a price - the Sales Manager said "nope". Later, however, the Sales director ended up coming in, seeing the paperwork, agreed on my offer (well, VERY close to it, anyway) and told Ed to give me a call. Ed did everything he could but the decision wasn't his when I walked away. Even though it took time out of my day to come on back, this was definitely the dealership I wanted to buy from considering all of the other things I've described! More

I returned the truck to the service department today to have this resolved. They informed me the truck was being repaired under warranty. I assumed it would be, but was delighted to hear they were looking out for my interests. I have confidence in this dealership service department, and am relieved I get professional care. More
