Car buying experience Not so great, went to buy a on sale car in their ad (which at the end of the day really isn't on sale). At first the service was great! It started with test driving the car which had no gas so we had to turn it in back to the lot before we could really get anywhere. We were in the middle of coming to an agreement on a price when we found out that we were being forced to purchase a add on addition (S.W.A.T.) that would be an extra 2,900 to the car, this was something that on any other "full" priced car could be disable, and even after being told by another associate that this was a feature that could be turned off of ANY vehicle in the lot and our vehicle in particular, they were forcing us to add on this feature if we wanted to take that car home tonight. Would have been ok if they had not given us false information in the first place. We tried our best to come to some kind of agreement but as soon as they brought the sales manager out there went any kind of hope from getting any decent customer service from this dealership. He was rude and Very unprofessional, his name being Steve? Or Steven? After the false information and the service we had recived, I asked for my keys to the trade in even tho I would have been FINE with taking the car home that night at the price they where able to get it at which was pretty close (was only $2,000 off the price we wanted and this was because of the swat feature). I didn't want to purchase a car from someone who would treat their customers such as he did. As we were leaving he couldn't just let us go with a "sorry we couldn't help you" or "you guys have a great night".. No he had to throw some very unprofessional comments such as "keys are right here" slid them across the table, "we have a great deal here so you know where to come back" with an attitude I might add, after him saying that we had mentioned well if you really wanted us to take home this car tonight then you would and could have made it work and if he wanted to add another car to their 90 car quota then he could call us, which he added with a smart remark stating "oh we will make our quota". Also wanted to mention, something Steve or Steven had informed us by, which is also not in the fine print when buying the car, is even if on a full priced car you didn't want to add on this "extra" feature (S.W.A.T.) to ur car you would still be forced to pay $1,200 because the device was installed into the car and even being inactive, they will still charge you this amount because they took the time to install this device and you will have to pay for it active or inactive. So just make sure if you purches a car from them that you are looking out for the fine print for false advertising and that little scam they throw in there for you. Unless this information from Steve or Steven was also false or scam information. More
Great car buying experience. No pressure My purpose of this visit was to trade in my older vehicle for a new vehicle. First, they allow over night test drives, which is awesome. I brought in a new online quote from another dealership. It was for the same vehicle I test drove, but had more features. Larry H. Miller worked with me and got all the features I wanted in the vehicle that I drove for the same price that was posted on the other website. It didn't even feel like negotiating! The sales people and the finance people were very friendly. They listen to your wants needs and complaints. They work on salary, not commission, so they were not pushy and really listened to what you had to say. The facilities were okay, as I've seen better at other dealerships. My recommendation would be to add more to the little children's play area or at least have the TV on with a childrens movie going so that way there's something to entertain the children while the adults are talking. More
Most honest interaction I have ever had at a dealership!!! Carlos is awesome. I made an appointment to bring my 2014 Dodge RAM in for transmission service as the owners manual called for. I was quoted $299.00 for the "dealer only" service. After bringing my truck in and hanging out in the waiting room about 20 minutes Carlos came in and informed that my truck with the 8 speed transmission never needs service. I was flabbergasted! 1st because the transmission never needs service and 2nd because Carlos was honest and informed me. I could have easily paid the $299.00 and never been the wiser. I called before I arrive I considered LHM for the purchase of a used vehicle because of previous contact with Internet sales person, Elijah Jaramillo. I called before I arrived and told him my search criteria. He and Guillermo did the necessary leg work to track down viable options before I arrived. The rest of the sales experience was smooth sailing! From the moment I set foot on dealership property I was treated with courtesy and respect. Comfortable service environment I feel very welcome the minute I arrive at the service center--from the minute a technician comes to my door to ask why I'm there to the service advis I feel very welcome the minute I arrive at the service center--from the minute a technician comes to my door to ask why I'm there to the service adviser assigned to my case who promptly comes outside. The electronic equipment is helpful in that it defines my issue without the need to recall the nature of my complaint--ie:, the exact brake light issue automatically pops up on the computer. The comfort of the customer is obviously important to the dealership, as numerous tables and comfortable chairs are available as well as snacks and beverages for the customer. The one issue that I have is the length of time I had to spend--two hours on this visit--when I arrived at my appointment time. I feel pampered with the free car wash with service. More
