Poor communication, lack of accountability from service rep and technician, poor service planning & repairs took 3 times longer than estimated. I had a scheduled appointment and the work was still not comp rep and technician, poor service planning & repairs took 3 times longer than estimated. Dealership is good; but I can't understand why take appointments, if others can come in without one? Maybe have a door for appointments, rather than express, so customers feel like they are treated fai appointments, if others can come in without one? Everyone I have worked with is extremely courteous and helpful, even when they have to deal with Chrysler/Mopar inferiorities. A new car should not need so much covered service repairs. And multiple times for the same repair part - not dealership's fault, but Mopar's. Service was completed in time estimate given. More
Review of Service Department - Invoice: 586758: I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 7:30 AM, which ended up taking over two hours to complete. This delay, in itself, is unacceptable for such a routine service. However, my bigger concern is the lack of honesty and professionalism demonstrated by the service advisor and technician during my visit. Upselling Attempt with False Claims: I received a text from the service advisor stating: "Your technician was looking at your throttle body and noted some carbon build-up around the valve and recommends we do a throttle body clean…" This service was quoted at $387. However, in the service report sent to me as evidence of this "needed" maintenance, the attached photo was not of the throttle body but rather the top of the engine. The photo clearly displayed undisturbed dust on the front of the engine cowling, intake plenum, and throttle body. This contradicts the claim that the throttle body was inspected, as the technician would have had to disturb this dust to access it. For comparison, the area around the engine oil fill cap in the same image shows visible disturbances, further confirming the inconsistency. Lack of Trustworthiness: This experience reinforces the negative stereotype of dealership service departments being more focused on upselling unnecessary services than providing honest and reliable care. I went to Larry H. Miller’s service department because my vehicle warranty included three free oil changes. Unfortunately, the behavior of your staff has made it clear that customer trust and satisfaction are not priorities. More
