Female customers want to be treated with respect and professionalism and flowers are a gift between friends and intimate partners. It may be meant as a kind gesture, but is received as patronizing. 3. Make sure both parties are on the title of the new car if requested. I had to ask my sales rep and then again with the finance representative. 4. Speak to both parties involved in the purchase. Addressing only the male is the purchasing decision is unprofessional and inappropriate. 5. Add some gender diversity to your sales staff.
