The Worst Experience I have ever had, in my 25 years of buying cars. I came in, knowing exactly what I want, what I've got and what I need. I have a job, great credit, and a hefty down payment. I thought this would make my experience so effortless and easy. I was left in the care of Anthony Pena. He was a complete jerk. He's a condescending blowhole (to be honest). He treated me like I am a complete idiot. Talked down to me, was argumentative, impatient, and easily aggravated. He and I went back and forth in negotiation. I told him I would not accept the sticker price, (there is a $2k off MSRP online sale going on), he got a horrible attitude. He said, "this is the only one in AZ", as if that changes things. He ain't grabbing me by the xxxxx!! I told him I was done. I would no longer be interested in buying from them, because of him. He responded with, "good, you're being difficult and we don't want customers like you!" I wasn't sure if he is always a condescending xxxxxx, who treats customers like they're disposable, or if he's intimated by my knowledge and experience. This is a $70,000 purchase, he'd make money on this deal, regardless. It seems like he wants to make it with little to no negotiating or customer service skills, what-so-ever. I will be shopping elsewhere. Thanks Mr. Pena, you not only lost my business, but I'm going to tell everyone who will listen about the nightmare sales experience I had at Larry Miller Avondale with Anthony Pena. More

I cannot speak for the sales department but as for service I am extremely disappointed. I went int Saturday 7AM for a service appointment and was “helped” by Cliff. Everything was fine up until the po service I am extremely disappointed. I went int Saturday 7AM for a service appointment and was “helped” by Cliff. Everything was fine up until the point he was informed I had an extended warranty. He made it a big issue that they aren’t open weekends, which I know. He claimed it would “cost me more” because I did it on Saturday compared to a week day. I tried to explain to him that I work M-F and wouldn’t be able to come during the week and he didn’t give me any alternatives other than “it’s going to end up costing you more”. I’m currently waiting on a service manager to call me back but I will not be coming back. More
This is what happened today when I went in you purchase I went into this dealership to order a new Jeep Rubicon. met with the sales associate and he was very helpful. I explained that I was buying the vehicle with a FCA executive discount so he wouldn't be making any money. He said no problem and went to work looking for my vehicle . We discovered that the vehicle that I wanted needed to be ordered so I wanted to think about it overnight. The next day, I called and asked what was needed to order it and was told "at least $500" but we are flexible. I special order cars for customers all the time. When I arrived , I was then told by his manager Anthony Pena that I would now need 15% which was about $10k. I asked why , and wasn't really given a believable reason. I called my family member who used to be over all of the service for Chrysler, Dodge and Mopar in the US , and he said that is nonsense , and told me to ask for the Sales Manager ( who was in a meeting). Well Anthony Pena continued to be rude and condescending until I said " Since you are waiting for your manager to get out of a meeting, why don't you call me and tell me what he has to say." It was then that Anthony Pena said, " don't worry, we won't be calling you as we don't need customers like you." This was in front of other people as well who witnessed this flippant behavior Nice ,,,, I made my purchase order with the Bill Luke dealer and was treated with courtesy and respect and that is where my vehicles will be serviced in the future because of this individual . It is unfortunate that sales people like Mr. Pena ruin it for a whole dealership , I don't know where Mr. Pena acquired his customer shrive skills, but they need some polish for sure. As I have had excellent service from Mike Veselik the Service Adviser . So you have choices to spend your cash , so I spent $65k elsewhere , So Mr. Anthony Pena, not to worry you will not have customers like me to this dealership or any referrals by me, which is again unfortunate because there is obviously some very good people that understand what good customer service really is. I searched every Jeep dealer in the West valley and because of the respect they had for me and my choices, I picked Larry Miller on Bell Rd in 1997. The service was always a positive experience and each visit was followed by a phone call to see if I was leased or not with my service. When I decided to buy a car with more safety equipment, and I was impressed with the Subaru. Because of my positive experience with Larry Miller, ended up with a new Subaru, 2021. Again, because of the professional and personal experience of this dealership, and the accessibility of my service technician, I have had a wonderful and successful experience with Larry Miller. One more reason - in the service area, we were given the cell phone, and department phone numbers of.our techs, which made them more reachable. I miss the yearly “Customer Appreciation “ day, which was a victim of the virus. Thank you to the whole staff at Larry Miller. More
