Scheduled an appointment for my 2018 Dodge Durango online, which was great, and indicated that I had a solid check engine light that I needed to have diagnosed. I live up in the mountains, and this wa online, which was great, and indicated that I had a solid check engine light that I needed to have diagnosed. I live up in the mountains, and this was the closest dealership (3 hours away) where I could get an appointment within 1 week. Drove to Denver and showed up to drop the car off and the technician told me 'we need to keep the car 3 to 5 business days to diagnose the light.' First, it was unbelievable that someone didn't tell me that a 3 - 5 day stay was needed/required before I drove 3 hours to the dealership. Second, diagnosing a check engine light does NOT take 3 - 5 days. I'm not talking about fixing it - just diagnosing it. Luckily, a buddy had an OBD2 code reader, and we figured out what the problem was in less than 10 minutes. Read the code, did some googling and found out what I needed to fix right away. Warning: Do not get service done at this shop. They do not update you and keep your vehicle way longer than needed. My last service took 46 days to repair. This ahop is a joke. I have 4 trucks. They have mixed up vin numbers on my trucks and cause service issues. They told me I had a recall on one truck and made appointments to drop it off to find out it was a different truck, and they had been logging services to wrong vin numbers. They alao broke my oil filter adapter housing on my last oil change and blammed it on me and cost me $1,000 to fix the parts this shop broke on my truck. They said they would help me on my recent transaction with a $100 off coupon. They did not even do this. The entire shop is neglected. When picking up, there was nobody around, and then I had to go to 3 different desks to get checked out. I had to make contact on a regular basis to get any sort of infor out of this shop. I have gps in my trucks attached to the ocb. The ship tells me they started working on my truck and was a complete lie as i pulled up my gps and truck was parked in the far sid of their lot for 22 days before even being looked at. I will never go back to this shop and advise others to be warned, you will be overcharged, and truck out of commission longer than it needs to be. Bryson and candicee are the worst service team people i have ever dealt with. One would think they would provide better service for a vehicle that was purchased here at this dealership. Good news, Im glad I got my truck back, so I can now take it to a reputable business that will take care of customers. Tip: Drive the distance to a good shop. AutonationS and Johnsons Auto Plaza is where I do business now. During this whole ordeal with Larry h Miller, I was able to get all 3 of my other trucks in for service. Including one with a starter malfunction and was fixed under warrenty in under 2 days. Proving how much of a joke the shop is at Larry h Miller. More
Called on Feb 17, 2023 made an appt to have a leaky rear window looked at the appt was made for March 3, 2023. Was told it would be about 5 days for diagnostics( 2 weeks in advance and still a 5 day wait) S window looked at the appt was made for March 3, 2023. Was told it would be about 5 days for diagnostics( 2 weeks in advance and still a 5 day wait) Show up on the 3rd and then I am told it will be 10 days, Low and behold today March 16 2023 is 10 days, called dealership was put straight to voice mail and still have not received a call back. Filed a complaint with FCA and when they contacted the dealer they were told that it will be another week at least, I even recommended I could get my vehicle and they could call me when an appt was available. I was told no just in case we can get it in sooner. If you do by a vehicle here do not get any type of warranty because you will be stuck with them and there poorly run service department. I would not recommend this dealership to even by a used a car. More
