Hi Jan, we are really surprised to see this review and that we left you feeling this way. Prior to your arrival, our sales person worked with you on your trade-in value to match a different dealerships offer on your trade-in of $6,000 and offered a better price than what you had working with the other dealership. When you arrived from your 4 hour drive-in, you informed us of another and different dealership that offered you another better deal, however it was on a model year 2024, as opposed to the 2023 we had originally been working, so we shifted focus vehicles to match or beat the new offer we were up against. We offered you another tremendous deal, only to find out from you that side steps were included in the other offer, but were not present on the worksheet that you handed us to review. We then offered to give you the side-steps for free. You decided that you wanted to think about it, and that was the last feedback we received about this situation. I'm not sure we knew that you didn't want the vehicle we were tirelessly working on to make the 4-hour drive worth your while. I believe we were cordial, courteous, prompt and responsive to all of your needs, as they evolved through this experience. I apologize that you left feeling that you wasted your time. We wish you the best.

The side step offer was that you would put them in the bed of the truck and it was my problem to get them installed. I never said i didnt want the vehicle. I said my search was narrowed to 2 vehicles. I said i was buying the one that i got the best deal on. I was able to get a Big Horn/ Lonestar a year newer for less than you were offering.

Very good, it sounds like a case of miscommunication as I witnessed Arealous speaking with our Service Department and checking to see if they were able to install the side steps that day, and I also witnessed Yusef, the sales manager, inform you that we would be able to install them that day, so again I do apologize that we left you feeling this way. Yusef said "we will throw them in" which is not a literal statement, rather a colloquialism, intended to imply that we would give them to you for free. Maybe this is where you interpreted it as we would put them in the back of the vehicle. As well, we were also working with you on a Model Year 2024, so again it sounds like a case of misunderstanding as you mentioned that you got a year newer vehicle, however we were offering you on a MY 2024. In any case, we appreciate you taking the time to review us and wish we could have communicated more clearly with you.
