I brought my Tahoe in for the instrument panel cluster replacement & later for the engine light that wouldn't go off. I was treated with the greatest respect by Tony. He answered all of my questions & I replacement & later for the engine light that wouldn't go off. I was treated with the greatest respect by Tony. He answered all of my questions & I didn't feel intimidated. He was very knowledgeable & I appreciated his willingness to help me find the solutions to fix my car & letting me know of other items that needed to be addressed on the car. Tony is also very friendly & goes out of his way to help others. I don't usually go to dealerships for problems with my cars, but, I have appreciated Tony's personality and helpfulness so much that I have decideded to call him when I have problems with my car. (I do hope that won't be often, though) More
First off Larry H took advantage of my naivete when I was foolishly in a hurry making me think I was getting a good deal on a 99 Chrysler 300M that I found out when I got home to Nashville I had paid about $ foolishly in a hurry making me think I was getting a good deal on a 99 Chrysler 300M that I found out when I got home to Nashville I had paid about $2000 more than retail bluebook. The salesman swore he'd take care of my daughter and her car. A few weeks later the driver's side window won't go down. They said it was the motor and said replacing that would fix the problem for only $300+tax. Then they said it was the switch too and replacing both would cost only $450. I think the salesman meant that he would take advantage of my daughter. I must have misunderstood him. Bottom line? Buy your cars from somewhere - anywhere - else than Larry H. Miller. Now my daughter tells me that the service department broke the driver's side door panel when they had it in for service and after a week of trying to get it fixed they are telling her that they will let her know if she has to pay for the repairs or not. Definitely do not go to Larry H for any reason whatsoever. More
After looking at a used car we decided to have the dealership drive our car and tell us what they would give us on a trade in. A few days later we get an envelpoe that contains our registration and i dealership drive our car and tell us what they would give us on a trade in. A few days later we get an envelpoe that contains our registration and inspection information,It seems they helped them selves to the contents of our glove box and didnt bother to ask us if it would be ok if we provided it to them. Not to mention what would have happened if we would have been pulled over with no proof of insurance or registration. So I called the dealer and ask to speek to a supervisor which I did talk to, Curtis stated that they do that sort of thing all the time and that our information is public information and they will bassicly do as they please. I was givin a sarcastic appology and told this is just how they do what they do, I was hearing things that I cant even believe I was hearing. I found the supervisor to be rude and unable to really understand what was being told to him. I will not be doing business with them, nor will anyone I have influence over. Joel Bascom More
After taking delivery of a new vehicle over 5 weeks ago, they kept submitting the contract to different banks. The first bank was unable to finance, but the second bank was. We signed a new contract and tha they kept submitting the contract to different banks. The first bank was unable to finance, but the second bank was. We signed a new contract and that should of ended it. However, they decided to submit it to yet another bank, and in the meantime I had left my job. Unknown to me, the third bank called to verify employment. I was gone for a 5 day stretch and had left my phone at home. I got home not only to find the car was gone, but a whole rash of angry voicemails from their finance manager. One was down right offensive, threatening me with jail and to charge a boatload of fees. I'm still working on getting my personal belongings back. This is the WORST dealer on the planet. More
I was an idiot for buying this car in the first place, knowing so little about the dealership and car itself, but don't let it happen to you as well. This is my story. While looking for a car, I jus knowing so little about the dealership and car itself, but don't let it happen to you as well. This is my story. While looking for a car, I just stopped in to see what was available. I was told that there was very few cars in my price range, but they had a great one that would fit my needs: a 2002 Ford Taurus, the whole time giving me no other options to look at. There was no asking price to start with; they said they prefer for the customers to "see" the car and before they talked about pricing. After test driving, it seemed to be in very good condition. After I was brought into the waiting area to discuss the purchase, a big deal was made about how he (the salesman) was able to drop the asking price by quite a bit of money, asking only about $5500, which was strange, seeing as there was no asking price to begin with. I bought it because I was in need of a cheap vehicle that would last for a while. After about a week, the engine had trouble starting, and after 3 weeks, the car wouldn't start at all. When I brought it in to have it looked at, the same salesman said he would be able to "pull some strings" and have the diagnosis done for free, but when I talked to the service department, one of the workers said that they do ALL of the diagnoses for free. So to sum up: Used cars don't have prices until you test drive them There is no return policy for used cars AT ALL My car lasted a total of 3 weeks before needing new parts The salesman forced me into looking at just one car And the typical sales trick of "giving you a deal" for something that should be expected is used quite frequently. Don't buy here. More
We went there looking for a used car. We told the salesman EXACTLY what we wanted and our EXACT budget that we did not want to go over. He brings out a really nice car. I mean way nice for our rang salesman EXACTLY what we wanted and our EXACT budget that we did not want to go over. He brings out a really nice car. I mean way nice for our range. We decided we would test drive it thinking that we could have some time to talk about the car and not have someone listen in on us. But no, he comes with us. It was a nice drive, but you cannot test a car like you should if the sales person is in the car with you. So, we get out, and the guy was like can I sell you this car? I was like hold up! You haven't even told us how much it costs and stuff like that. So we go inside. And of course he has NO idea. He has to go talk to his manager and see how much the car was. So we sat there, and sat there, and sat there. He finally came back and told us that it would be slightly above our budget. We asked him by how much, he said by about $20 more. He asked us earlier if he could sell us a car that was over our budget and I gave him a firm NO. OBVIOUSLY he forgot or wasn't listening to what we said and only wanted to sell us something that would get him a higher commission. Then, he got his manager in and we asked what the car was worth and he said one number and then said, but, I can give it to you for about $1000 less. That number was almost DOUBLE our budget. So in short, if you want a dealer that DOES NOT listen to you and leaves you alone for more than half of the time you were there, this is the place for you. More
Two months after I get new tires from Larry Miller at Provo, one of them (front left) losses pressure without any apparent reason while I was driving to SLC from Provo, I replaced the bad tire on a reall Provo, one of them (front left) losses pressure without any apparent reason while I was driving to SLC from Provo, I replaced the bad tire on a really hot day with the spare. After that I went directly to the dealer to show them what just happened and to request an exchange, but they told me that the warranty doesn't cover that issue (didn't even check the bad tire) instead they gave me an estimate of $171 to get a new tire installed. What a crap! Customer service is Ok, until they find out that they won't make any money from you, be careful! They don't seem to be authorized dealers to sell tires, one of the guys there told me to go to one of the authorized GoodYear's dealers (and gave me a GoodYear Customer Service Phone number) and any of those dealers could decided if the tire can be replaced or not. Really crap service! More
Service receptionists very friendy. Service horrible! Price ridiculously high!!! Took my vehicle to have some electrical work done, several warning lights in dashboard were on. in my opinion this dealers Price ridiculously high!!! Took my vehicle to have some electrical work done, several warning lights in dashboard were on. in my opinion this dealership does NOT, repeat DOES NOT, have a qualified electrician. Dealership kept my vehicle 3 weeks, could not find electrical problem. Every week needed to intall new part, so they say. Bill was at $3000+ after 3rd week. I had to say stop because it seemed there was no end. After I said I wanted vehicle back, they finally fixed. 1 month later dash board warning lights came back on. Took back to dealer. Again they wanted to put more parts in, because they say problem was not related to previous work done. They were 60% sure a $500 part would fix problem. I said NO WAY, not going down that road again. Went and got my vehicle, they still managed to screw me out of a $50 diagnostic fee. I picked up my vehicle and the warning light were off, so I guess there was no need for the $500 part. I took vehicle to another dealership. They found no problems, they say it us possible that the computer was reset or problem codes erased. I checked the locations of were LARRY H. MILLER PROVO said they replaced parts, didn't look like anything was replaced. Those S o B's just reset or erased my problem codes and I got the shaft on a $3000 bill mother F ers!!!!! Wish I had the money to sue those crooked basterds!!!! If you have electrical issues avoid LARRY H. MILLER PROVO, unless you have the money to sponsor their on job training. Which is pretty what I ended up doing. More
DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! What a joke! If you want the run around and want to spend all your time and energy at a dealership this is the place to go. Me and my wife went here and bought a new Cadillac CTS and around and want to spend all your time and energy at a dealership this is the place to go. Me and my wife went here and bought a new Cadillac CTS and i got a Ram 1500 or so i thought, we were here for 8 hours on a saturday and when we got talking about just getting the car because they didnt have exactly what i was looking for they told us "you need to get them both at the same time so we can run the loans at the same time to get a better rate" and my wife loved the Cadi so i bit the bullet and got the Ram as well. So i call in to see how the finance part is going and to my supprise the ran the Cadi through before they even sent papperwork to the bank on the Ram which was a week later so this means i could have looked around for atleast a week before picking a truck out. I bring this to Bretts attention face to face and very upset! He tells me "yup your right we did tell you we were going to run the loans at the same time and we didnt sorry" So the run the loan on the Ram ant two weeks to the day i get a call and the ram has to many miles to get the 72 mo loan so we need to find a diffrent truck with lower miles. oooookkkkkk so i am now driving a truck thats not mine and i have no idea of what to do. They tell me "we will do the shopping for a diffrent truck" so i leave it to them and to sum it up i spent two weekends waiting for their call back and never got one. Oh ya the day after we got our Cadi i sent two more people their and they both bought one Chevy Colorado each wich brings the total to 85,000 dollars i got them and still they could give a rats ass about my deal. Larry H Miller in sandy got me a new loan on a white Nissan 4 door Titan, the titan was 5,000 dollars more than the Ram but my out the door price was the same as the Ram soooo WTF???? PLEASE do not go to any of the provo stores you will be sorry. More
Do not take your car here unless you want to keep coming back. We went in for warranty repairs since this was the dealer we bought the car from. It was a 5 hour wait for diagnostics. After that we agreed back. We went in for warranty repairs since this was the dealer we bought the car from. It was a 5 hour wait for diagnostics. After that we agreed to repairs that totaled almost $3000. $800 was our portion. Some of the main issues we brought it in for was leaking coolant, the heater was not working, and the service AWD light kept flashing. There were plenty other repairs though. First to tackle the AWD issue. Upon picking up the car the light flashed after about 5 minutes. We turned around and headed back. It took another hour for them to diagnose that the repair would be another $500. They had missed it on the initial check. We declined this repair and headed on our way. 20 minutes down the road we notice the car smoking. We pull over on the side of the freeway and got out to check. There was antifreeze all over the engine. We called back and they told us to drive back. We diasgreed and told them to send us a towtruck for fear that the enigine would be damaged. We waited 1.5 hours for the tow truck. The next day we were told it was a result of a coolant hose coming disconnected from the radiator. No apology. We went to pick up the car only to find the keys inside and the door ajar in a poorly lit parking lot. When this was addressed the service manager only stated "Oh well how open was the door?" Does it matter? She later said she would let the tech know so he won't do it again. Well there will not be an again. We finally head on our way only to find that the heater is not functioning properly. We aren't going back. I have wasted to much time and gas driving from Layton to Orem. Half our problems have not been fixed and no apology received. On top of poor performance on our car. They fail at customer service as well. More
