Tried to buy a new vehicle, ruined our credit instead. Went in to purchase a new vehicle. Had a very specific vehicle in mind and they had something that was almost exactly what we were looking for. The test drives went good, the salesman answered any questions we had, zero issues. Went inside to do the normal number games and give/take, Still no real issues. This all changed when the finance people got involved. For no reason at all and without our permission they did a hard credit hit on our credit six times. SIX TIMES!! Anyone that knows anything about credit knows this will destroy your credit report. It ended up dropping our credit by over 50 points. We ended up walking away from what we both thought was a done deal. More
