Good afternoon, You brought us a vehicle (crashed/rebuilt title) with air bags deployed, headlights disconnected, and wires/plugs left hanging loose. Being a shop owner you are aware that branded/rebuilt title vehicles are never a sure fix hence why the state deems them that way. You had originally attempted to start repairing the vehicle at your shop and replaced the BCM that did not correct the starting issue you were encountering. We started diagnosing and kept your vehicle for 2 weeks troubleshooting and swapping parts from a known good like vehicle. The result is further diagnosis was required/needed. You were already vested $660.00 and the additional cost of continuing diagnosis would be excess with parts and labor included. The charge of $660.00 was for labor time the technician invested swapping parts which we feel is a fair amount for physical hours within the 2 weeks. I apologize that our shop recommendations did not meet your standards.
