New Car, Not even a Year Old I have been trying for the longest not to leave a bad review, but this draws the line. If you’re in the market for buying a NEW/USED VEHICLE please do I have been trying for the longest not to leave a bad review, but this draws the line. If you’re in the market for buying a NEW/USED VEHICLE please do not let Langdale KIA of Valdosta have your business. My husband and I decided to get a brand new 2019 Kia Forte. Within the 4-6 months that we had the vehicle the transmission goes out. Okay not a problem since it’s under warranty. So we ask how long you think it will take, the service reps state only a week and a half. After two weeks had past my husband calls again and they inform us that they still have not received word on our transmission….okay not a problem. More weeks decide to past and he calls again and they still have no update on our vehicle, but informs us that when the transmission comes in they will give us a call. So then we tried talking to our sales rep that informed us we couldn’t get another car…..I mean we barely had this one. Now we are at one month and a half and receive an unexpected call from LANGDALE KIA informing us that our car is ready to be picked up. Remember now this is a new car that only has 17,000 miles on it, was service in November and broke down in December, but more importantly we should have received a call because that what they said. My husband asks the person on the phone why was we not notified when the transmission first came in and now we have only 48 hours to come and get our vehicle. The person on the phone can’t answer the question so she goes and puts Mr. Geoffery Abraham who was excellent on the phone by the way, saying that he would get in contact with KIA. We never heard back from him or KIA so at the last possible minute we are trying to find a way to come and get our car without being charged. So upon pick up the car is riding smooth, but doesn’t seem to be getting warm inside of the vehicle. Its 20 degrees outside the heat is on and we have the fan on high. Why gives us our car back after a month and half and there’s no coolant in the vehicle, better yet why sell us a vehicle if the transmission is going to go out, you never get back with us in regards to the service of our vehicle and then you won’t give us another vehicle. I am so sick and tired of LANGDALE KIA that my first time buying a car off the lot was as horrible as this. We will not be back once the car is paid off and from this day forward anyone I know will not be buying a vehicle from this dealership. Since we have gotten the car back it now makes a disturbing sound when you make a right turn. Langdale KIA NEEDS TO SHUT DOWN THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT THIS IS RIDICULOUS. More

Do not trust what they say I am not the type of person who writes reviews regularly so you know this review will have some meaning. I want to warn service members and veterans t I am not the type of person who writes reviews regularly so you know this review will have some meaning. I want to warn service members and veterans to not be tricked by these people. Langdale Kia workers Alex (salesperson) and Eric (financial manager) are lying manipulators. I went in to buy a car and found the one I like. First thing I did notice were scratches on the car. Alex (who sold me the car) assured me their detailer (who happens to be "really good at what he does") would be able to get them out. Ok cool. Done deal. We go into his office and make a deal. They showed me the prices and I was showed how much my car will be plus taxes and etc. Alex informed us of the extra stuff we could add to the contract and we declined any extra offers that cost money. They told us we will recieve the theft protection for free. We did not decine this "free" offer. The finance manager lets us know he is writing up our contract and he will let us know when he is done and told us it will only take around 2 minutes for us to sign. Once we get i to his office, he starts handing me the physical copies to sign. I read them over until I get to the page that has the total price. It is WAY more than was originally mentioned and printed out. I start asking questions and he tries to beat around the bush. I look at the accessory charges and see over a grand charged for "maintenance" that I never asked for or agreed to. He starts getting visibly upset when I started asking questions and requested that he take this off because it was something I was not informed about. The charge was still higher than the original price we had agreed to. On the charges page it did not look like there were other charges that were supposedly optional so I signed. When it came to the electronic signature, he did not allow me to read it but had me sign it. I assumed it was just a digital copy of the physical copies I just signed. I did not get to take my car home that day because the detailer went home. On the day I pick up the vehicle, our salesperson was out sick. The first thing we look for on the car are the scratches Alex said would get fixed. They are still there. We talked to the people who were still there and they assured me something could be done and they will let Alex know. After Alex talked so high of the detailer, I expected a really clean car. You can see an attempt was made but there were missing dirty spots and soap running off the car. I get home and of course notice a little dent I did not see before. I notify Kia and they assured me that something would be done and that they will let Alex know. Alex tells us he can get an estimate for us for both the scratches and the dent which is the complete opposite of what the dealership told us. With all of these issues going on we decide to look over our contract because they sold us a car that is supposedly in "new" condition and was given to us in an unacceptable condition. First disappointment we see is that the car was sold to us "as is" which is the opposite of what they told us and assured us. Second disappointment was reading the digital copy I did not get to read before signing in the office. It explained the purchase of an extended warranty that I declined when they told me the price of it before. They snuck in an extra $2400 charge that I never wanted in the first place. We called Eric to confront him about this charge we didnt know about. It ended up in an argument and then his response to us telling him he tricked us was, "Dont you try to make money when you go to work?" We are working with the companies to get this warranty dropped and we are planning on reporting him and this dealership. I would NOT recommend making deals with this dealership. Especially with these people still working there. Please save your time and find another KIA dealership. If they will do this to a pregnant, disabled veteran, they will do it to anyone. (I know they will try to respind with an excuse, but there is absolutely no excuse for what they did) More
