I was very weary about shopping for a new car from the bad stories I had heard from friends/family. We visited a few dealerships to get a look at the new sedans within the price range I needed, and when we visited Hyundai I realized the car within my budget wasn't what I was looking for...it wasn't big enough. Right before we left Christy introduced us to her manager and he asked what we were looking for. After telling him I wanted my payment to be within a certain range he pointed out a particular car...a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Asked if we had looked at it b/c he could work the numbers to make it fit my budget. Considering the overall price of the car was a few thousand off, we didn't even consider it to begin with. But im VERY glad he pointed it out!! The car sold itself...as soon as Christy opened the doors and I saw the interior I knew it was mine. After test driving it once that day and the next afternoon we began the paperwork process. Long & drawn out yes...but Christy and the other sales rep made sure we were comfortable...got us water and kept us entertained while we signed the papers. I could not have asked for a better experience with purchasing my new car. And the service afterwards has been excellent as well, Christy has called to see how everything has been with the car and to make sure im still enjoying it (which I am). I have recommended everyone I talk to, to visit the dealership if and when they decide to purchase a new vehicle. More
I went in with the goal of purchasing a New car without needing a trade or down payment and still being able to finance the vehilce within the monthly payment range I had accounted for. He showcased me a few vehicles even knowing that I was not planning on buying until a few months later. That was very important to me because other dealers had treated me very different and gave me a horrible experience to not even want to return when I was ready to buy. The second time I went, I had met with Josh, gave him my requirements for purchasing, and told him I wanted to look at the Hyundai Elantra. Josh could have wasted my time and let me test drvie the Elantra and go over the finances, but he told me that with what I was looking for was not possible to finance in the range I wanted. I respected that a great deal. I test drove the 2013 Hyundai Accent, size, price, and fuel efficency were all good in my eyes. However, the looks of the base model did not really appeal to my eyes. I knew if I were to buy a car that day I would have to be 100% sure. Even though I liked the model, and that it could meet my needs, I did not like the base looks. I went inside to dicuss financing, and I saw a Red Accent GLS Sedan, Premium Pkg. and the Dealer preferred pgk. It was 100% better than the base model. I told Josh that if the numbers work for that vehicle, then I would purchase it. Needless to say, the numbers worked and I even have the extended warranty to cover everything for 10years 100k miles all within the monthly payment I desired. All of the staff were friendly and respectful. They listened to my needs and responded with a solution. They are on top of things when it comes to handling business! More
Went there to get an oil change. Touched all around engines that they don't needed to and some screws could be unscrewed by hand easily. Langdale Hyundai provided me with the best experience ever. They were very patient and not pushy at all. Emails and phone calls were returned very promptly. My experience with Langdale has not been positive. To be fair, they are not dreadful. They do lack in their overall customer experience. I purchased a Sonata, was told that there had been done a 250 pt in fair, they are not dreadful. They do lack in their overall customer experience. I purchased a Sonata, was told that there had been done a 250 pt inspection so that checking out the car with my personal mechanic was unnecessary. That alone is a giveaway that there is something to hide. Despite the overall 250 pt inspection, the following defects still existed: low coolant and windshield wiper fluids. Dangerous? Hardly. It simply suggests that the so-called inspection was bogus. In driving on the interstate, one of the tires blew out (this was only 5 months after purchasing a car that had had a 250 pt check). I found out the parts of the jack were missing and most importantly: there was no locknut adapter. Net result, I couldn't change my tire and had to hire a tow truck. An independent mechanic said that the tires were dangerous. He showed me the tread wear especially on the inside of the tire where it can't be easily seen. He was puzzled why a car that had been sold less than 6 months previously would have such dangerous tires. Disastrous? No, although, if my wife had been stranded, I would have been livid. The typical items were missing, no "instruction" book came with the car, there were no floor mats, and there was no extra keys to the car. I was told that receiving a fob was extraordinary. I asked about the floor mats and was told that Langdale only provides few cars with floormats. I asked about the missing parts and was told that the person doing the checkups was fired for incompetence. Unfortunately, the people who were told about the 250 pt inspection were out of luck. is Langdale terrible? It is however a dealership where their assurances should be accepted with caution. Are they trustworthy? Personally, I would not trust them. Between incompetent mechanics and shoddy merchandise, I would not go to Langdale. More
I would Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. The staff was great and was sincere about doing the Best deal possible. EVERYONE I dealt with at Langdale was AWESOME. I began with Danielle, who was one of the hardest-working employees I have ever dealt with anywhere (and definitely at a car dealership). She was amazingly honest, and patient, and spent many, many hours searching for the specific car I was looking for (sorry, but I was picky). She was personable, a real person, who always began a conversation asking about me and my family. She checked in with me every day, either by phone or email with updates of her progress so I'd know she hadn't forgotten about me. She was always very respectful. When she had to take off a day for a family emergency, she still went above and beyond by calling Nick and telling him she'd been working with me. He then called me and searched further for the car I wanted, and was willing to go out of his way to get me a car from another state. Although I began with my local Tallahassee Hyundai dealership first (where I had already purchased 2 previous Hyundais), and spoke to the sales manager here, the Tallahassee man told me it was not worth his time and money to look for the car I wanted (because I wanted a manual transmission); in fact, that's how he ended the conversation and I never heard back from him. However, ALL the people at the Valdosta location made the hour and a half drive WELL worth the trip! I highly recommend them! More

This was by far the best dealership visit I've had. I drove from Tallahassee because I wasn't thrilled with the local service and had heard the Valdosta dealers are so much better to work with. Not only did Josh greet us at the door with a smile (LOVE the bow tie!), a friendly attitude, he busted his rear to get the deal we needed and had me behind the wheel of my new car that day. The whole team at Langdale Hyundai was in credible, and thank you Nick for getting that price worked out for me! Oh - make sure you get Josh to sing for you! Yep - completely serious :) More
