My wife and I were blown away by the honesty of this dealership. We like to do our research so once we knew that we wanted an Odyssey we were calling around to all the dealerships within a 200 mile rad dealership. We like to do our research so once we knew that we wanted an Odyssey we were calling around to all the dealerships within a 200 mile radius with the best deals on this model. We prayed about it and when we ran our search Langsdale Honda popped up first because it is right down the road. We kept searching and found many deals that were slightly better, but when we called and asked for an out of the door price all these “better” deals turned out to be much worse. We were shocked by the added fees. Langdale’s fees were few and well explained. Reggie Garland reached out and gave us the exact amount the vehicle would cost. He was a pleasure to work with. He was so helpful. I think he probably could have helped several more customers that day, but instead focused just on us. It was also refreshing to see a man who is bold and unashamed of his faith. The car was great too, Reggie provided a report of all the maintenance items and checks that were performed on the vehicle. This company didn’t just detail and sell vehicles. Out of an abundance of caution, we still took the vehicle to an outside mechanic during our test drive. The only thing mentioned was that the brakes and rotors needed replacing. The mechanic gave us a quote which we took back to Langdale. Despite having reservations about the recommendation (because they had already had the car checked), the manager did not argue and instead took an extra $500 off the total price. Billy was fun and knowledgeable. He obviously knew how to deal with the peculiarities of a military individual. If I could make any recommendations for the store it would be to find a way to shade the show room floor. The giant windows face the sun all afternoon which turn the entire area into a greenhouse. I feel bad for the workers, like Reggie, who have to swelter in show room area. The back was quite cool and refreshing. At one point we were taken to the waiting area and given some cold water which was very much appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Everyone was honest and the process was smooth and effortless. I also like to think that we made a new friend, which is so much better than any vehicle. More
A pleasant car buying experience! I was not expecting much when my granddaughter and I stopped at Langdale Honda to look at cars on the lot. Imagine my surprise and delight when they had the perfect car for me on the lot, at a decent price, and gave me fair trade-in value. Donnie Bargeron was amazingly patient as I changed my mind several times over the two day experience (he came in on his off day to help me decide). He knew the features very well and was very easy to work with. I was also happy with the sales manager as well. I truly have only good things to say about the entire buying process. More
I was out riding with my wife on a Saturday just sightseeing and we decided to stop by Langdale Honda to see if they had invoices on their cars and so we were impressed! They had a beautiful Honda C sightseeing and we decided to stop by Langdale Honda to see if they had invoices on their cars and so we were impressed! They had a beautiful Honda Civic touring model fully loaded with a three year warranty where as other dealerships you have to purchase one and a lifetime power train warranty. We were also impressed with Frank Boyett and courteous service and mannerism! So we were in there in a couple hours and walked out the door with a 2022 Honda Civic touring model. Thanks to the sales associate and keep up the great work! Hats off to Langdale Honda! More
Very Very Poor Service and rude manager "Scott" 06-12-20 My wife and I purchased a 2020 Honda Pilot Black version we put 50% down. The sales person Mr Hood was very polite. The problem was when he took the car to the service dept to be detailed. We waited and waited Mr Hood was going back to the service dept and coming back. I could see he was getting frustrated. Finally the car came out. Well we opened the rear door to find mud all around the inside. Mr hood went and got a rag to clean it off. Then we went to the front of the car and well their was a scuff on the hood of the car and you can see what ever was dropped onto it also dropped onto the front bumper. The inside of the car at the console was all finger prints. We left and was told not to do a bad review because that is how they get their pay. So I am supposed to lie ? Harrold was also very polite. Every one up front was nice. Now I get a bill from Allstate and they had a Honda Civic and a completely wrong vin. So yesterday I phoned Harrold with no call back. Now today I also called with no call back. I finally was able to get through your manager Scott. Well he was very belligerent and said to me they only made a mistake on the vin. I said sir I am concerned that my car paperwork is mixed up with the Civic. Scott was belligerent again. I asked him if he thought I was mn and he stated that if I wanted to start this conversation over I could call back. Very Very rude. I am a concerned customer and never got an answer. Is my paperwork mixed up with the owner of the civic ? In closing I have been self employed for most of my life. I would of never been business with a bad attitude. I am totally disgusted and still dont know If my paperwork with langdale is correct and not mixed up. Dan and Sharon Beffa More
IF I COULD RATE WITH 0 STARS I WOULD! A FEW DAYS AFTER I PURCHASED MY VEHICLE, I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS! THERE WAS A SIGN ON THE VEHICLE SAYING THAT IT HAS TO BE MAINTENANCED BEFORE SELLING BUT, IM ASSUMIN PURCHASED MY VEHICLE, I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS! THERE WAS A SIGN ON THE VEHICLE SAYING THAT IT HAS TO BE MAINTENANCED BEFORE SELLING BUT, IM ASSUMING IT WASN'T! IT WAS THE THROTTLE BODY, SO OF COURSE THEY PROBABLY DIDN'T WANT TO FIX THAT DUE TO COST AND LABOR. I TOOK IT TO AN AUTO PARTS STORE TO BE CHECKED AND THE SAID IT WAS DEFINITELY THE THROTTLE BODY! THEY DID SET ME UP FOR AN APPOINTMENT BUT THE GUY WHO DROVE IT SAID THAT HE DIDN'T HEAR ANYTHING....(NOT TO MENTION WHEN I GOT BACK INSIDE MY VEHICLE THE AC WAS ON HIGH AND THE RADIO WAS ON)! HOW COULD HE HEAR ANYTHING IF THEY WERE BOTH ON? I CALLED THEM SO MANY TIMES BEFORE THE WARRANTY WAS UP BUT THEY SAID IT COULDN'T BE ANYTHING DONE UNLESS THE MOTOR OR TRANSMISSION WENT OUT! ANYWAY NOW IM HAVING TO PUT HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS INTO THIS VEHICLE AFTER HAVING IT FOR SUCH A SHORT TIME. I DEFINITELY WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! More
I dropped my car off on Wednesday, October 13th to have a factory recall repaired. As I was leaving, I asked the service advisor if they would have it ready before I got off of work. He asked me what time I factory recall repaired. As I was leaving, I asked the service advisor if they would have it ready before I got off of work. He asked me what time I got off and I told him 5. He said it most definitely would be ready by then. I got a call about 3:30 telling me that my car wouldn’t be ready because they had a “surprise drop off” for the same thing. So my car got out AFTER a drop off when I had an appointment for two weeks. He told me that if I left it overnight it would be ready Thursday for sure. I agreed, reluctantly, but not before letting him know that I really didn’t need to be without a car because I have four kids at home and plans to go out of town. He said he understand and that they would have it done Thursday. Fast forward to Thursday at 1 PM, I called again to see if it would be ready. They told me they had to order a part and it wouldn’t even be there until Friday. So, my car wasn’t going to be ready that day either. I told them that I really needed a car and they needed to figure something out. They didn’t have any loaners available and “Honda doesn’t provide rental cars”. I could see them not providing rental cars when it’s not their fault, but this was completely out of my control and I was left without transportation for something that should have taken a day. The part they had to order should have been there waiting for me since I had an appointment. I talked to the service manager who promised me a call back to let me know what he could do, and here we are Monday morning and I still haven’t heard anything from him. They never called me Friday or Saturday to update me on the status of my car. I was left all weekend without a car and no phone call from the service department. The manager acted like he didn’t even care. If I could give them zero stars, I would, but I guess I will settle with one. More
