They lied to me about an oil leak! I bought a truck from Langdale ford back in October. I looked under the truck and there was oil on the bottom of the oil pan. I asked the salesman if I bought a truck from Langdale ford back in October. I looked under the truck and there was oil on the bottom of the oil pan. I asked the salesman if it had an oil leak. He says oh no just a messy oil change. They had just changed the oil and spilled a little. Ok, I thought. Now a few more things months later I'm leaking oil so bad I have to add 3 quarts before it's due an oil change. I went in and asked what they could do for me and they tried to get me to pay $85 for them to look at it. I said no way and left. I called and asked to speak with a manager and they finally agreed to look at it for free. Then the technician told me the oil pan gasket needed replaced and it was about a $400 service. My salesman told me they would do the repair for $300. So they lied to me about the oil leak and then want me to pay $300 to fix it! Absolute crap! They sold a relative of mine a Mercedes and a couple days after she drove it off the lot it had an oil leak too and all they would do is give her $100 credit for the service. These people are criminals with a terrible business ethics. I'll never do business with them again and I hope nobody else has these issues with them. More

GOOD BESIDE THE FINANCE MANAGER I have to say that I had a great experience buying from Langdale Ford. The salesman Thomas was super nice and made sure that I was completely happy. Steve Everett also came in to speak with me and he was extremely nice to me. Now, Marvin Eleazer was a different story. I went with my local credit union to finance my vehicle because the interest rates was so much better. So when it came time for the simple paperwork I met with Marvin. Well he tried to sell me the warranty which I opted out of for my own reasons. Well it made him so angry. He was all out rude towards me about it. I explained to him that I just bought a $43,000 car and I didn't want the warranty. He explained how he would not drive off the lot without. I understand trying to sell someone something but a NO is a NO. I work with people everyday and no matter what the situation is I am always nice to my customer. Those are the ones who pay my paycheck. Without them I could afford a $43,000 car so I treat everyone with kindness no matter what I'm really thinking about them. I feel like if he doesn't want to be nice to customers like me then he needs to find another job or just quit because apparently he doesn't need to draw a paycheck like my people in society. When I went to leave his office he gave me the information and put his back towards me and said have a good day and that was it. Surely I am not the only one he has treated like this. I came alone to pick up the vehicle while my husband was at work so I guess he just thought he could treat me different. But anyway with this being said I hope that someone would help change his attitude. I will not hold this against anyone at the dealership because everyone before him was extremely nice and very helpful. More
