Purchasing a car is one of my least favorite things to do, primarily because of the sales tactics commonly used. None of that occured with this transaction. It was straightforward and one of the easiest and most pleasant car purchasing experiencess I've had. My rating dipped a bit due to the experience with the financing office. The interest rate offered was excellent, but when someone states that they do not want the extended warrantly or the maintenance contract, please take them at their word. Due to relentless pressure to take these offers and explain why I did not want them, I had to repeat THREE times that I did NOT want to add additional costs to the purchase price of the vehicle. Declining the offer one time should have been sufficient; I should not have to justify why I am declining. I do not appreciate those types of sales tactics and I certainly did not want to extend the payment period just to lower the monthly payment so I could afford the extended warranty and maintenance contracts. More
