Service writer treats you like crap! I own a 2013 odyssey and wanted to get something fixed under warranty. I walked into the service department today (5/4/15 around 2pm) from the side an I own a 2013 odyssey and wanted to get something fixed under warranty. I walked into the service department today (5/4/15 around 2pm) from the side and not from the middle and then i stopped by the desk of the first service writter as soon as i entered the area. This person is located on the left most edge if you enter the area from the middle. He first greeted me and said "how can i help you?" I have told the service writer that i wanted to get some things fixed under warranty. Then he asked "where did you buy the car from?" I said, from Bill Page, then he gave me a sarcastic laugh. I didn't know what that was. Does it matter where you buy the car? i thought you can get service as long as the car is still under warranty it doesn't matter which dealership you go to, they should be able to fix the problem right? So i started to explain what i wanted to get done. First, was rattling noise coming from power lift gate. He said that he could have someone look into it. Then i said that my transmission was shuddering, and he said "do you see the engine light on" I said No, and then he immediately concluded that there is no problem with transmission. I mean, is he the mechanic? or a service writer? How can he just tell you that there is no problem without even test driving and knowing where the problem is. Maybe this guy should work as a mechanic instead because he has no idea what customer service means. Then the last thing i mentioned to him was that i was having issues with the front breaks, that when going on a highway and when i step on the brake the steering wheel vibrates. The guy looked at me and said "honda only covers breaks for 1 year 12,000 miles" What a crap! then he said "we will look into the breaks and if there is something wrong then i can pay $300 to get it fixed" I left the service desk right away without looking at this dumb, disrespectful, unprofessional person. As i was leaving the area he kept asking me if i would drop the car off this Wednesday. What do you think? Duh... NOT A CHANCE!!! I will file a formal complain with corporate HONDA Motors regarding this matter. More

I dropped my car off for service that was under my warranty, as stated by a Honda dealership in NY, the weekend before (couldn't get the service done there because I was only in town for a Saturday). I stated this while making the appointment and when dropping off my car. Of course, as expected from the first time I called, I was told one repair wasn't under my warranty, because I had a dent on my car. I questioned this and was directly told by the customer service manager to "take my business elsewhere" and to come get my car. Never have I been so disrespected by a business or "customer service" manager. Worst customer service ever and you can expect to pay more for parts, services, etc. because it seems as if they're in the business of ripping people off and anyone who questions them or isn't satisfied with the service, can just go elsewhere. I would recommend steering clear of this dealership and the horrible way they represent Honda. More

Happy with my experience I've taken my car to the service department here twice and had a pleasant experience both times. I definitely plan on going back. I dealt with Milton I've taken my car to the service department here twice and had a pleasant experience both times. I definitely plan on going back. I dealt with Milton as my service advisor and he was great! He was friendly and answered the many questions I had. Also I like that he was straightforward and honest about the condition of my car and wasn't trying to upsell me into services I didn't need, which is something I'm usually wary about when getting my car serviced. In fact I asked him if a certain part needed to be replaced on my car and he said that honestly if it were him he would not replace it yet because it was in okay condition and may not need to be replaced in the future. Also he went through the pros and cons of aftermarket vs. factory parts to help me decide which was the better choice for me financially- not what would help the dealership make the most money from me. The service waiting area was nice, I got free coffee and the wait wasn't too long. My only wish is that they were open a little later in the evenings since I don't get out of work until late. More

I live in Washington, DC and was having my car serviced in a nearby MD Honda service center simply because of convenience. I experienced a engine problem - car was towed to my regular service location and when they told me I needed a engine replacement and the price I was floored - even buying a rebuilt engine was way out of my budget. I am self employed and needed my car to operate my business. I was getting a good feeling from the service representative. When I told them I was having the car towed and taken to olde faithful Landmark Honda I detected and attitude. Once at Landmark Honda the vehicle was evaluated and I was informed by my NEW Assistant Service Manager, Brian Cail, that a engine replacement was not necessary. The car did require major service but the cost vs replacement cost was much less and something my budget could handle. No matter what my car needs in regards to service it goes to Landmark Honda where I have always experience a professional, exceptional and polite experience in both Sales & Service a Departments. The drive is well worth it!!! I recently was able to purchase a 2014 Honda Accord. Mukesh Kumar, my original Sales Rep. made it happen - I was skeptical. Kumar is always extremely pleasant to deal with, his get it done attitude, professionalism, knowledge & abilities are always appreciated. When called he is always willing to go the extra mile to provide info or answer questions - always with a smile He doesn't make you feel rushed or pushed as some sales reps do. Brian Cali my go to service guy is absolutely wonderful. I thought when I purchased the 2014 that I would lose him but I am happy he is still my service rep. Brian has ALWAYS been very professional and efficient. He pleasant demeanor just makes you comfortable and I totally trust his expert opinion & evaluation results. I have never felt that I have been taken to the bank as they say with my service expenses. I run several businesses and time is money - Brian understands my needs and whether I need a rental or I have the time to wait which is rare - handles my needs efficiently, effectively & expeditiously - always with a SMILE. Both Mukesh & Brian have my stamp of approval to represent the quality of customer service that make Landmark Honda stand out from the rest in proving 100% Exceptional Customer Service with a 5 Star Rating. Landmark Honda and I have a winning team in sales and service with the service provided by Mukesh & Brian. I give xxxxxxonly when they are due. Brian welcomed me over to his counter and confirmed my paperwork. I decided to stay and wait for my car to be finished so I waited in the wait area. About 45 minutes passed by and Brian walks in with a box full of Honda hats and bags and let each customer pick whichever they wanted. I thought this was so thoughtful seeing as people are normally grumpy early Monday morning lol. So it brought a smile to my face (I picked the bag...a girl loves a bag). Anywho, the technician who serviced my car was Gerardo Herrera who did a wonderful job with it and Brian Cail was such an awesome customer service rep, he really made my visit there one to remember.
