I definitely do not recommend this dealership. I went to this dealership prepared to buy a car, based on what I saw in their online inventory. I test drove a couple cars and started discussing details of th this dealership prepared to buy a car, based on what I saw in their online inventory. I test drove a couple cars and started discussing details of the deal. First, the salesman wanted me to sign an unenforceable handwritten statement saying something along the lines of "If we can agree to a price, I will buy X car today." I explained that there was more to the deal than price (i.e., fees, options, trade-in) and that I wouldn't sign. I think this is a sales tactic to either trick me into thinking the statement is enforceable or just to get me vested in the process. This should have been the first clue that I was not dealing with top notch negotiators, or even honest negotiators, and I wish I would have walked out then. But, I was still prepared to buy if I could get the right deal. After 45 minutes of back and forth about the price they have advertised on their own website, the second salesman (who was brought in after I wouldn't sign the above statement), agreed to the price on their website. We then started discussing fees- $695 for wheel locks, a pinstripe, and one other feature had already been added to the car- in addition to about $1000 in freight and processing. I wouldn't agree to the $695 as I know other dealers in Arlington don't add the same fees. So, I threw out a number 4% lower than the quoted number for the car and agreed to the other $1000 in fees. The salesman wouldn't negotiate with me at all other than to say "no." No counteroffer, just an explanation that the price on the website was an offer and he couldn't give me a lower price because it wouldn't be fair to anyone else who saw the website- which is absolutely contrary to basic contract law- an ad is not an offer; it is an invitation to make an offer. At that point, over 2 hours since I walked in the door, I told him we weren't going to come to a deal and politely left. I went directly to another dealership where I was able to get what I felt was a good deal, which included a trade-in price that was 145% of what Landmark offered. I was out the door with my new car at the second dealership in less than 2 hours. I also overheard some equally questionable negotiations going on around me in Landmark's somewhat factory-like/conference room setup. I overheard one other salesman tell his customer "numbers don't lie, but people do." Its hard to believe anyone would think that is a professional and acceptable way to negotiate. I got a vague voicemail 2 days later from the first salesman at Landmark asking me if I was available to come in again, but he never mentioned anything about a better deal so I have no reason to believe it wouldn't just have been more of the same. Plus I already purchased another new car. More
i recently called for a 40K service appointment on my accord. everything was fine until they asked if i had bought my car there...i responded no. another local honda dealer i replied. i was then asked accord. everything was fine until they asked if i had bought my car there...i responded no. another local honda dealer i replied. i was then asked why i bought elsewhere and why am i bringing another dealers honda to them. huh? are you kidding me? i was calling to give you money for servicing my car that your technicians are trained to do. at such time, i told gee gee that other dealers can have my money in these trying economic times...good luck. i hung up. DO NOT use this inconsiderate dealer. More

My overall experience with Landmark was absolutely wonderful. I have been looking for a car for months and have been getting negative feedback like repo my car and so on... I don't think a Dealer shou wonderful. I have been looking for a car for months and have been getting negative feedback like repo my car and so on... I don't think a Dealer should tell a customer that at all. Both RV and Wisdom we great. I am a little upset that my car note is extremely high but I can understand. Again the service from these two guys I would give a ten. More
I brought my car in for service and had some concerns about the initial handling of my service. After I expressed my concerns to the service manager, he apologized for my experience and made an exceptio about the initial handling of my service. After I expressed my concerns to the service manager, he apologized for my experience and made an exceptional effort to remedy the situation. He was professional and courteous. I brought my car back to Landmark so that they could have another look at it. They went above any beyond what was necessary to ensure that all of my concerns were addressed and I believe my car left the service department in excellent shape. I have confidence that I can return to the dealership in the future with positive results. More
We were off to possibly buy a new car yesterday and we had bought a brand new 2007 EXL v6 honda accord from Landmark in the past. Everything went well with that experience except they tried to overcharge had bought a brand new 2007 EXL v6 honda accord from Landmark in the past. Everything went well with that experience except they tried to overcharge us at the time of delivery. We refused to be overcharged, got the car and everything was okay. Yesterday, we went to go see Ibrahim who had sold us a car in the past because we wanted to buy a 2009 honda accord ex v6. When we got there he was with another customer, he told us he'd be there until 9pm so we said we would be back in about an hour-1.5 hrs. Upon arriving back we waited for at least 20 minutes because he was out getting something to eat. I thought this whole situation was tacky. When we spoke to Ibriham, we had been price shopping online and with other dealers as well (however we wanted to give him the first shot at our business because we had bought a car there in the past) and told him we wanted to get the best possible price, we would pay cash today. Ibriham was very disagreeable on price (and so was his manager), WOULD COME NOWHERE NEAR THE OTHER PRICES WE HAD SEEN - and wanted to really overcharge us. My wife and I walked out of there feeling like our money was unwanted and no good because we had visited other dealers and got pricing that they could not and were not willing to beat. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!!! More
I live in Maryland and have been coming to Landmark Honda for a little over 10 years. I have NEVER had my car serviced by any other Honda dealer. I choose to drive to VA for Landmark Honda due to the Excell for a little over 10 years. I have NEVER had my car serviced by any other Honda dealer. I choose to drive to VA for Landmark Honda due to the Excellent Customer Service, the excellent experience with having my car serviced with Charleston the technican who has worked on my car the last ten years if I have any questions he shows me exactly what's wrong with my car and explains it to me in great detail. I have established great business relationships with the employees over the last 10 years. The experience I get from the time I pull up to the time I leave is EXCELLENT. The car porters are even excellent. I could go on and on about Landmark Honda! I highly recommend Landmark Honda to everyone who owns a HONDA. More
Given the limited # of characters, I'll have to keep this brief, I traveled 1 hour each way to get to Landmark Honda 2day as I only trust them w/my vechicle, my saftey of my Mom, my son, my German shepherd r brief, I traveled 1 hour each way to get to Landmark Honda 2day as I only trust them w/my vechicle, my saftey of my Mom, my son, my German shepherd rest in their hands. Todd Dixon, (Asst. Service Mgr), Len( tehcnician- don't know his last name) & Rasheed Powel& his boss Leo (Finance) and Joe( the owner)just super people- fair and honest as the day is long Bought a service contract on my 05 Pilot- it saved me & paid for itself in 5 invoices- first glimpse of the dealership- spotless everywhere all the time, even in the winter( snow everywhere etc) restrooms - immaculate...this is direct reflection of their service, percision, knowledg and ability/willingness to communicate, not condecending to "non car types"- will encourage repairs in an adamate fashion only when saftey is close to being compromised- other wise, parts are redcommneded to be replaced when worn out or making problmes. Fair, efficient and make great decisions( you car can't be done when promised( you're told early on)- you get a loaner on Landmark). Is a consumers advocate with Honda N.A ( will fight for you in warranty related issues)- FYI- Landmark, won the Honda President's award in 08 and has done so several years in a row and not soley for selling cars-when you see the sales force in action there, they are educating not pressuring consumers, they are working with them & LISTENING...I'VE SEEN IT FIRST HAD. Yes, they are busy- everyone moves w/a purpose there, nobody hanging around w/ciragrette's hanging from their mouthes/over their ears- its very professional there but not impersonal. Once the sale is completed, the service dept takes over and that's truly where the "marriage" to this dealership takes place, you're made to feel as if your business matters to Landmark as there will be no place else you'd rather go, why bother w/the rest when you can go to the best- Get your Honda serviced at Landmark and you'll never go else where- trust me. Too bad Chrysler couldn't have received some lessons from Landmark Honda...there is no time left to make mistakes w/your Honda repairs, you don't try to second guess your dentist or doctor- they guard your saftey- don't second guess on your Honda repairs.....Yes, I went there today and my insistence on leaving non-Honda brake pads on my Pilot cost me ( and I was told by Todd Dixon)you could hear the brake noise- and it cost me a pair of rotors- pretty expensive education, I should have listened, it cost me and that taught me...only Honda parts, only Honda education and thus only at Lanmark Honda More
