Great dealer but finance manager tried to up sell finance, and expensive warranty and added a 385.00 processing fee. The Alexandria Mercedes dealer charges 199.00 processing for a 70,000 car but lan finance, and expensive warranty and added a 385.00 processing fee. I was given an appointment immediate when i called service. The next day i took in my car and within an hour i had a clean and serviced car. Granted it was just an oil and filter change, but the fac service. The next day i took in my car and within an hour i had a clean and serviced car. That hour went by very quickly with coffee and some up to date magazines that i read and it felt great getting into a vacuumed and clean car when it was all done. I recently moved to the area and needed service on my 2005 Accord so I brought it to Landmark Honda. Like most Honda dealerships, the customer service and quality of work were good but the price was a b 2005 Accord so I brought it to Landmark Honda. Like most Honda dealerships, the customer service and quality of work were good but the price was a bit on the high side. But what I find most interesting about this dealer is the number of posts they have on dealerrater.com. As of today they have 166 posts while the next highest is about half that number. Can this be a case of "ballot stuffing?" More
I was very impressed with the customer service I received at Landmark Honda. I work with Gus and he did an outstanding job! When my car was not going to be ready when estimated, and he saw I was not happy with this inconvenience, he made extra efforts to get me a rental car (which I didn't end up needing) and also made sure I was satisfied with my experience at Landmark Honda in the end. Gus is definitely a model employee and I feel fortunate that he was the staff person I dealt with. Great job! More
I recently purchased a used Honda at Landmark Honda. My salesman was Mel Waldman, Dino Payne was the used car manager, and Gus Cucalon was the service manager. My experience was awesome. The price we negotiated for the vehicle was a very fair price. The vehicle needed servicing in a few ways and they not only took care of the obvious items but really went above and beyond to ensure the vehicle was in great shape. It was very clear to me that they wanted to earn my business and surprisingly, that cannot be said of all car dealers from my experience. I would recommend them to anyone and I plan to go back there for my next vehicle. More
Checking to be sure my fluid levels were within acceptable limits before the snow storm started,I found several to be low or completely low. I went to the dealership with the intention of buying the fluid myself but decided to ask if it was possible to have the fluids topped off. I knew I was due for a service, which I had not been able to schedule it because my husband was out of town and I was a bit busy with work and small children. I spoke with Gus and he very kindly pulled up my records and informed me the service due was not a major one. After explaining what the minor consisted of, I asked if it was possible to have it completed right then. Much to my surprise, Gus told me it could be done in one hour. I knew they had to be rather busy, with the area expecting 18-24 inches of snow and most likely many others like me putting off getting our cars ready. I did ask for the service be done, figuring it would take more than the hour promised. The waiting room was packed but it was easy to see that people were coming and going at a steady pace. Gus came to tell me my car was done, under the hour time frame indicated. I was greatful for the wonderful and fast service from Gus and the mechanic who worked on my car. It was a relief not to have to worry about my car having problems if my family and I needed to go anywhere during the snowstorm. I have always been treated with respect and kindness at Landmark Honda. We bought our Odessey at this dealership and know we could easily go somewhere else to have our car serviced. I would recommend Landmark Honda to anyone, any time. I am very thankful for Gus and the way he went out of his way to help me on a very busy morning. More
Wow… Landmark Honda’s Ron Hancock is getting my highest scores. The dealership and especially Ron are excellent! Can’t get better service than there…I went there with my daughter to buy a new car. The people were all friendly, smiling and you feel welcome (naturally they all want to sell you something). I did not have to wait since a sales person was right away available, although it was a busy Saturday afternoon. Wow…and how lucky we were to get Ron Hancock as our sales person who made you feel special. He is very knowledgeable gives great advice and does not push you (like some other dealers) – an expert in his field and it is great fun to deal with. He made the car purchase process a most pleasant shopping experience. I drove out of the dealership with a sweet deal and a big smile on my face being the owner of a brand new Honda Civic LX 2010 which I love and everybody envies me. My new Honda Civic got everything I’ve ever dreamed about – the model LX 2010 is super, the color – Atomic blue - wonderful. If you need a car (new or used) ask for Ron Hancock, he is grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!!!! More

I escorted the buyer to be through the doors of the dealership and saw it was packed inside, and thought, 'uh ohh..this is not going to be good, was like a cattle farm' But a very pleasant gentleman greeted us before our thoughts could wander any further resulting for us to walk right out and re think the whole car buying thing. Nice gentleman dude asked the nature of our business (was really nice that they did not swarm over you and force feed a car down your throat) and walked with us and introduced us to RON HANCOCK! Looking back, it was almost like the heavens parted and a halo of light shone upon Ron with harps and stuff in the back ground. It was chilly that day, and he let us kinda play around and sit inside the cars and push buttons ect. Right off the bat, he was very very amusing and really made you feel comfortable in an often high strung car lot environment. He was so knowledgeable about everything! Yes, he listened to what the customer needed vs. what a dealership wanted. We had looked on line and were aiming for a Honda Civic something, and besides prices, could not really tell the difference between DV, VP, LX, SI, ect. Ron broke it down for us non car biz folks in real human lingo. Then it was down to the test drive! I must admit, I have the ads burned into my memory of them boasting the largest inventory of Hondas in the East Coast or something like that, but to be honest, when we drove into the lot and we are standing there looking around, it really wasn't that big. After discussing what our favorite color was (Atomic Blue:) (sorry to all you hipsters out there, but despite the polls, the gun metal greys and silver bullets, the absolute lack of color on a vehicle to blend into the abyss just doesn't appeal to me!) Ron checked the availability of the kind of trim the customer wanted and the color. Bingo! We we were wisked away to nearby Landmark Mall (any locals will equate Landmark Mall to a dead mall that once in its heyday was the place to be) but lo and behold as we rounded up the ramp to the top level of the parking garage and saw a sea of Honda (and by the way all subsequent levels of the garage as well are Honda parking lots)AMAZING! If you ever want to just see what a car looks like, just go hang out at the mall and walk around the parking garage and you will see why this is the most selection ANYWHERE!!! One stop shopping! Mom can get her minivan, dad can get the sophisticated sedan, the kids can get there efficiency or suv, everything you need, widest selection, most nicest people, all of them (PS, you overhear a lot of work place gossip in the bathroom, and it was all good!) just kidding, everyone is so friendly, and you can tell looking around the sales floor all the potential customers were pretty happy looking on the outside! Oh, yes, back to the test drive! Well, have you ever bought a new car, and you are kinda in a twitterpainted afterglow for a while and then reality bites you that little things you never noticed in your test drive really bug you now that you are aware of them and the cup holders arent right or you really do have a lot of blind spots, or hey, my suitcase wont fit in the trunk, all those little details you are more aware of now. Well, Ron walked us through all of those scenarios and more with some very amusing demonstrations. First, he show and telled all the basic stuff that really is important, like how to turn on AND off windshield wipers, head lights, radio, moving your seat, ect. then he went over some clever drills were you get to run over the sales man! Ever tried to parallel park your new car? Do you have any real idea of the spacial size of your new vehicle within the first few weeks, or months? well, Ron sat in front of the car and told us to drive as close to him with out running him over. When we got out and looked, there was a meter of space left, so you kinda get a better feel of how big or small your vehicle is. We played mafia wars and locked Ron in the trunk, and he got out with the cool emergency trunk release from the inside. He went over the valet key functionality, a really cool feature, and so much more cool little tricks and treats for the car. The customer really felt like she knew the car inside out before she made up her mind and put down her John Hancock, ha ha! Get it? Hancock, signing to buy a car, the name of our sales person, hence how it all comes together beautifully and the clouds and light and harps thingy before! I wont give out all his trade secrets, but he most def gave a good deal, and you will just have to find out by giving him a chance and stop by and see him, just for your own amusement if for not buying a car. And the most awesome thing ever that really impressed me the most, in all seriousness, he has a little photo album he keeps and takes a photo with each and every customer who purchases a vehicle from him. Just goes to show you he is in it for a relationship with you to support you along the way in your journey with your new car. He is most sincere and caring, and in this current economic climate, he makes sure you do not leave the lot 110% satisfied. Oh, and the finance dept. is great too1 Mrs. Jones did such an amazing job at explaining all the warrenty stuff, i am no math wiz, and numbers make me dizzy, but looking at the converasation from the outside, it all seemed fair, and really, it is albout what you need, do you want that extra coverage 'incase'. Thats all it is, you can just get the standard whatever, but at least listen to the extended warrenty, gap insurance, ect. speeches and make your own decision, and Mrs. Jones gave some excellent advice both on and off the court, and really makes you feel special, like you are the only customer she has. Little things make a difference, and I will be sure when the time is right for me, to make my way over to Ron and Co. and offer up the secret handshake, say lets make a deal, I want to buy a new car from you today! Soon after submitting my request, I got an email from Ron Hancock, the salesman of Landmark Honda, providing an excellent offer that satisfied my request. It was very quick and saved me a lot of time. After a few Q&As,I went to the dealer located in Alexandria, VA. The service in test drive, paperwork, financing etc. was smooth with help from Ron and Ann. So far (a week later) the car runs great. I like Landmark Honda's "Live Chat" and quick response, Ron's frank, friendly and professional service, as well as the excellent price without hidden fees. More

Ron was very methodical yet humerous with his approach in demonstrating all aspects of the value of the vehicle (Civic Hybrid) and even more important to me perhaps was that there was virtually no pressure for me to buy. The way the Landmark Honda family continually answered all questions, secured financing through my desired company with out me ever needing to be involved in the process, and the fact I was given the time needed to really feel out the prospective purchase that I felt I really needed to make an informed and confident decision, one would think I was their sole client for the day (and this was a Saturday)! Furthermore, the superior customer service certaintly didn't end with Ron, Bouna and Dino... my finance manager Maria was equally impressive with her knowledge of warrantees. Maria acknowledged my desire to feel comfortable with wanting to be sure I was protected in the event of "life happenings" with full understanding of my need to not exceed a monthly expenditure that I felt would perhaps be too much. To put it simply, Landmark Honda has yet again earned themselves a customer for life. I feel not only pleased and satisfied with my purchase, but also the extended welcome everyone I came in contact with provided to me, truly making me feel like I too am part of the Landmark Honda family.
