I have been using Landmark Honda with Sean Kearny for 7 years now. The service has been reliable, the cost estimates have been accurate and the staff is very friendly. Although all the other staffs were friendly and competent, I had or still having the worst time with the salesman named Kyle. First the appointment was not set up correctly, where he didn't even competent, I had or still having the worst time with the salesman named Kyle. First the appointment was not set up correctly, where he didn't even list us on the appointment book, so in mean while he was helping others we were shuffled through different salesman after another. He also couldn't explain all the features on the car. Who knew a Honda salesman does not know how to look up the milage nor difference between ex and lx of Crv. Third, he didn't explain enough in regards to insurance requirement. I have bought my vehicle on Sunday when my insurance company was closed. Our salesperson was informed of my liability before the negotiation process took place. Not once he mentioned I had to have full coverage, and yet he had a nerve to leave before the actual delivery. I thought this horrible nightmare has ended when I've picked up my vehicle. Kyle has mentioned that my tags will be mailed to me. I told him I'll be in md, when he says it takes about 7days for the tag arrival. He said he will contact me once received prior to mailing the plates. It's been 2wks since my purchase, I called Kyle today in regards to my plate. He said it wasn't in, within 2seconds of hearing my name. Due to previous experience with him, I had conscious to call the dealer directly myself. The receptionist told me my license plate has arrived since the 16th. I'm utterly speechless on how incompetent, unprofessional this person is. It's a shame how one person can damage a reputation of the dealer. I believe it's your best interest to be aware of situation prior to purchase. More
This is my first new car purchase. I was very intimidated by the whole car buying process because I am a young female buyer and I have heard about the stereotypes of dishonest car salesmen trying to take adv by the whole car buying process because I am a young female buyer and I have heard about the stereotypes of dishonest car salesmen trying to take advantage of my demographic. This is not what happened to me at Landmark, which is why I have decided to write about my experience and recommend this dealership to anyone interested in buying a new car. My car buying experience began about a week ago, and I picked three different dealerships (based on location and sales volume). I did extensive research on the car I wanted to buy, and even bought a Consumer Report on the price of the car. After talking to all three dealerships and comparing prices, I got within the price range I wanted to pay (based on my budget and the consumer reports). I would like to note that I went through the negotiation process by myself- I didn't bring a man or another more menacing looking person with me- and still got pretty good offers. The best quote I got was from the Pohanka dealership in Fredericksburg, VA. It was about $150 under the price I was being quoted by Landmark in Alexandria, but I still chose Landmark. Here are the reasons why: - Kyle, the salesman I was talking to, was very professional and treated me with respect (the two other dealerships at some point in the negotiation process made a comment about my looks and even threw in "a date" as part of the package). Kyle was very respectful and, believe it or not, honest. He also wasn't pushy, which is much appreciated. - The location was more convenient - It was still a very good deal and within my price range Once I decided to buy the car from Landmark, I showed up at the dealership to finalize the deal. I met other people working at the dealership and they were all very sweet and helpful- made me feel great about my purchase. I would like to note that when I went by to finish the deal they didn't try to change the agreed upon price or try to pull any sketchy moves like that. The man who helped me with the financing, his name is Lloyd, went over all the options with me and explained everything very clearly. He was also very caring and respectful. The manager, Jim, who oversaw the deal was also very nice and helpful. Car buying is a huge deal. You have to take your time to do research and negotiate well the price that you want to pay. It is also very stressful given the nature and the importance of the decision you're making. I have to say, though, that I had a very positive experience and it is all thanks to the Landmark Honda of Alexandria and their customer service. I bought a 2012 Honda Civic EX and I feel great about my purchase. If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't change my decision to go with Landmark. More
As with all the visits I have had to Landmark Honda, today was no different. I was greeted politely and swiftly by the service staff. Sean was not at his desk but helping someone else. Another fello today was no different. I was greeted politely and swiftly by the service staff. Sean was not at his desk but helping someone else. Another fellow took charge and asked to be of help. He asked diagnostic questions thoroughly and set to work to get my car in for oil change and tire check. This was a minor visit but others have been complex and comprehensive in repair. I have always gotten excellent care and service. Today Sean came over and greeted me and took over from the other fellow. He is cheerful, kind, attentive, respectful and I appreciate his excellence in work so much. He is a good listener. He always takes time to explain what will be done, and what was done, after the work is complete. He has bent over backwards in the past to get me a ride home when I needed to leave the car. He has always gotten me in for service in a timely fashion, working around my complex schedule. I can highly recommend him and his team. The guys who deliver my car to me are great too. I have rarely had to wait more than five minutes to get my car back after the work was complete. They have a nice waiting area with drinks if desired. The women who do the payment check out are hard workers, efficient and friendly as well. I love the place. Even the sales crew were great when we bought our second Honda, a CRV. I would not go anywhere else to buy my automobiles. Most of all I can trust them to do the right thing and not do unnecessary work. My van and CRV run great. Thank God for all the hard workers who care about the customers at Landmark Honda. There is a proverb in the Bible that reads, "Have you seen a man skilled in his labor? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before obscure men. Proverbs 22:29 That skill is what I see in Sean and the other workers that I have come in contact with at Landmark. People of influence and everyday people are looking for a place that they can trust to do a good job. They will find it with the Landmark team. More

I am fourteen years old and my family recently had our five-year-old BMW X5 break down. So, this time, we decided to go for a different brand. A brand that’s reliable and has good cars. We also decided that the Honda Pilot worked perfectly with our busy schedule. My mom, being a working mother, has to balance kids, my sister's sports, my sports, a job, and so much more. She doesn't have time to just sit and call a car dealership because she’s always on the go. So, on my way to volleyball practice, she asked me to call all the Honda dealerships in the area. I called the one at Tysons, Arlington, and the Landmark dealership. For some reason, the other dealerships thought it was comical that a fourteen year old called and wanted a Honda Pilot. Landmark Honda was the only dealership that took us seriously and called us back. Guess who's picking up a black Honda Pilot tomorrow afternoon? We are. And guess where we got it? Landmark Honda. I would highly suggest going there, the staff is also very friendly and they seem to have a very good work environment going on. The guys worked with us to make sure picking up the car fit our schedule and wanted to make sure we had an overall enjoyable experience. Keep up the good work guys! More
