I really wanted to say something nice about this dealership as this is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from them but sadly I will have to be honest in my review. The vehicle I purchased from them i dealership as this is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from them but sadly I will have to be honest in my review. The vehicle I purchased from them is ok. What I do not like is the fact I thought I was getting a warranty thrown in for free and I get home and find out i am paying for it......2700 bucks. So finding this out i canceled . I was going to use this money to purchase a better and much cheaper one from FORD but they are sending all the money back to the lender so i have to borrow more money to get one. Another aspect is that I was told they would be running a soft check at first when I get dings on my credit monitering while i was waiting in the lobby. When I asked they said well we did get you a deal right? as of today I have counted over 20 - 30 hits on my credit report which are STILL there, they told me i would not have that many and they would go away in a month... NOT TRUE. I do not plan on purchasing another vehicle from these guys and will let all the people I know what I went through here. More
The General Manager and Manager of the Used Cars were very rude and demeaning. It took three weeks to get a return phone call after leaving a message once a week. very rude and demeaning. It took three weeks to get a return phone call after leaving a message once a week. More
Buyer Beware! !! Horrible experience with the truck I purchased only four months ago. This truck has been in for service 7 times for the exact same issue(s) with no !! Horrible experience with the truck I purchased only four months ago. This truck has been in for service 7 times for the exact same issue(s) with no resolution in sight. The issues range from but not limited to: rough idle, engine misfire, oil leaking from right valve cover, steering wheel tilt not working, engine losing power going uphill, turbo not providing boost, burning excessive gas at a clip of 9.5 miles to the gallon. When this vehicle is designed to get 16 miles per gallon in the city and 22 on the highway. When I purchased the vehicle the oil hadn’t been changed prior to this truck being deemed ready for purchased. This was evident when the oil was checked and the oil appear black on the dipstick and on the towel used to check it. Not to mention this truck was also deemed ready for sale without any sticker being placed in the upper right corner of the windshield to show that the oil had been changed when this truck accepted as a trade-in. This shows that no certifiable point inspection could’ve ever been performed on this truck prior to me purchasing it. With so many things going wrong with the vehicle so soon after being driven off the lot. Which clearly exemplifies flaws, negligence, and/or (at the very least) very substandard work by the entire service department. When I took this vehicle to Landmark Jeep Chysler to have the valve cover gasket replaced someone reset the oil life indicator from 58% to 100% and hadn’t changed the oil or oil filter at all. I had to bring the truck back again where it was officially changed. If I didn’t catch that questionable behavior at best my truck would’ve been driven without the protection and lubrication provided by freshly changed oil. At the time in which I’m composing this review, I’m still paying for a truck that has been in for service at Landmark 7 times that is still losing power uphill, burning gas at a clip of 9.5 miles a gallon, and is riding as if I’m pulling a load. I’m told not one automotive mechanic between the three Landmark dealerships located in the Springfield area and Decatur area are qualified to diagnose and repair my Ford pickup truck. At the rate in which this is going my truck will need to be taken apart, look at, and driven a dozen more times in order for it (truck) to be properly diagnosed. I’m bringing it in to Landmark Jeep, Chysler going on trip number 8 this upcoming week. I’ll keep everyone posted if things changes for the better. This truck was purchased 2/28/2022 from Landmark east by way of Landmark Jeep/Chysler/Fiat. It’s a 2013 Ford F-150 Platinum More
