We recently moved to Bentonville and purchased a certified Toyota from a dealer in another state. Less than a month later, the vehicle was having trouble starting, so we contacted the original deale certified Toyota from a dealer in another state. Less than a month later, the vehicle was having trouble starting, so we contacted the original dealer and they said since it was certified, we could take it to the local Toyota dealer. We scheduled an appointment and brought it in. Chris was the service advisor who helped us. When we informed him of what was going on, he opened the hood to see if the battery was original, which it was, and said that it needed to be replaced and wanted to charge us $400 for a new battery. He didn't bring it in the back to diagnose if that was the problem. We had informed him that it was certified and if he needed to take it back to confirm the issue. He said no. We reached out to the original dealer and they said they would help us out. When we told Chris this, he said that if we would have bought it from Landers, he would have helped us too. We contacted the original dealer and they said that it was certified and the battery is covered under warranty nationwide to be replaced for free. They were incredibly apologetic of the experience we had at Landers Toyota and said, bring it here TODAY and we will make it right. They want to perform a diagnostic check before we just replacing the battery to be sure. What is incredibly disappointing is that we have owned about a dozen Toyotas for close to 40 years and have never had a dealership be less customer friendly than we experienced with Landers. Plus, this was new our local dealer, whom we would have expected to use for future purchases and service our families vehicles. More

The wrong part was received, and I had to wait a second day for pick up. During this time, no one bothered to take the time to wash my car. Why not? My son's Kia was in the KiA shop, and their customer service was FAR better than Toyota's. Disappointed. I will not be purchasing my new car next year from you. Absolutely disappointed. More
