CM NOT AS GOOD AS INTERNET PORTRAYED I Purchased my RAM 1500 in 2011 from Landers McLarty. Hear is what I have been unhappy about. The first issue was when I purchased the truck I stipu I Purchased my RAM 1500 in 2011 from Landers McLarty. Hear is what I have been unhappy about. The first issue was when I purchased the truck I stipulated that I was buying the truck to pull a trailer of about 8,000 pounds. The salesman recommended the 1500 Crew Cab with the Hemi. While the engine has more than enough power, when I first pulled a U-haul car trailer and 58 Thunderbird both weighing about 6090 pounds. I was not happy, I definitely should have gone with the 2500. The next issue was that I purchased a spray in bedliner, and Landers Mclartly never scheduled to have my truck completed. At which time the amount I paid for the liner was $100.00 more than the cost of the Liner of LM never returned the overage. I recently stopped in looking for a new 4 door Wrangler Rubicon, with a standard Transmission listed on the Internet Website but it wasn't there. I gave them my information of which they already had since I purchased my truck there to call me when they had a jeep come in that matched the items that I wanted, but they never called me back. So recently I received a phone call stating that my truck had a recall on the Rear axle Pinion nut. The notifications told me to call a DODGE/RAM corporate number to schedule an appointment and validate the parts would be available. I called the number and they past me to the Customer Service of LM which the service person validated the part was available and asked me what time I wanted to bring the truck in for service. I told them 23 December 2014 at 0700. Knowing this was a normal drop of time anyway I believed my vehicle would be completed without issues. I was the first vehicle their and was assured I would be taken care of. By noon I had not heard anything and called the Service Department, I was told they could not find the part and my truck would not be completed until the end of the day. I picked up my truck and at 16:00 and expressed that I was unhappy as I had made an appointment and was assured the item was available, I asked if there was a survey or something that I could fill out, but was told I may receive something in e-mail. Fast forward to 26 December 2014, I received a call on my answering machine that goes into a loop to press a button or enter a response if I was happy or dissatisfied with my Service. What a Crock. More

Customer Relations Managers are important!! I took my 2013 Dodge Journey in on 10-8-2014 because when the car is in drive but stopped you could hear a loud squeaking sound. When I arrived a lady I took my 2013 Dodge Journey in on 10-8-2014 because when the car is in drive but stopped you could hear a loud squeaking sound. When I arrived a lady named Heather took my name and number and asked for the reason I was there, I explained and she agreed that she also heard the noise. I arrived at 8:50am for a 9am appointment. After waiting until 10:50am a gentleman comes to me and says my car is finished and the person who checked my car did not hear the noise, also stated that the guy drove my car all over and still no sound. He advised for me to just bring it back if it made the noise again. I was leaving upset because I live in Hollywood Alabama. I got in my car and started it, put it in drive and the noise was still present at that time. I see Heather in the lot and I ask her where I need to leave a review. She knew I was not satisfied and asked what happened and I explained. She took my car back to the garage to be looked at again. In the mean time I go back to the waiting room where Jennifer Smith was working and as the Customer Relations Manager I expressed my upsetting experience. I told her what the guy said that returned my car and explained how when I got back in my car the noise was still present. I also advised Jennifer that whoever was checking my car used a significant amount of my gas while checking for the sound. She advised me that she would take care of it. She introduced me to Ryan and Matt two managers. I walked out front where my car was running with Matt in the driver seat and the car running and the noise was present then. They took my car back to the garage again and explained that the water pump needed replaced and that it wouldn't be ready until 10-9 or 10-10 but that they would give me a rental car even though they normally don't do that but because I live so far away they would help me. My overall experience has been horrible. A.Hepler More
Recent Experience Unbeknownst to us, our 2009 Jeep Patriot’s lifetime powertrain warranty necessitated a five year inspection unless it is voided without warning. All w Unbeknownst to us, our 2009 Jeep Patriot’s lifetime powertrain warranty necessitated a five year inspection unless it is voided without warning. All we heard upon vehicle purchase was to maintain our vehicle maintenance log and we did this devotedly. Our lifetime warranty was voided regardless. At year six we started experiencing transmission issues. Thinking it would be covered under warranty, we took the Jeep to Derek Smith for service. He kindly and thoroughly explained the warranty issues. Without having to ‘make a scene’ as I have witnessed so many times in the Service Department, he offered his services to begin the process of our warranty reinstatement. In short, Derek Smith had our warranty reinstated in a matter of days. So often service representatives such as Mr. Smith deal with irate customers showing their butts in displeasure of their experience(s). We were completely satisfied with our experience and will request future services with him. For such a short guy, Derek Smith towers above the rest in customer service! Those whom have had the pleasure in meeting him will understand my levity. More
