Service Department I got my Jeep Liberty serviced here in July of 2015 with a complaint that my air conditioning was not holding freon and would not blow cold air. When I got my Jeep Liberty serviced here in July of 2015 with a complaint that my air conditioning was not holding freon and would not blow cold air. When I left the dealership, my a/c blew cold air for a couple weeks. Then it was time for the heat to be used as the weather was getting colder. This year, I call with the same complaint and the lady tells me the service is under a 24 month, unlimited mile warranty. So she schedules me an appointment for exactly 1 week later. The service department added dye, found a leak in the a/c line running from the condensor to the compressor. So fix it under the warranty since you didnt fix it last year!? NOPE. So I go to Josh(service manager) and he shows me my "detailed list" of services from last year. On my service sheet, it says that they recharged the system for $49.95. Then proceeds to tell me that they put dye in my lines LAST YEAR because there was a leak LAST YEAR. But, he states that it is not shown on the service statement that they did that service last year because they didnt charge me for it. After telling me that there was a leak last year, i question WHY wasn't it fixed last year and why try charging me to fix it this year. ALSO, why was the service not documented? How is he supposed to know hat they put dye in it last year if it was not documented!!? So, he tells me there was a leak last year but it didnt get fixed and now they want to charge me AGAIN to fix it this year BECAUSE it was NEVER fixed last year. Also, this is a big company, and I find it very unprofessional that Josh tells me a service that was done last year was not documented. I expect ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING they do to my vehicle be documented whether they charge the customer or not. Clearly the service manager needs to be trained and the service employees need to also be properly trained to fix problems rather than just doing a temporary fix. And why tell me that I have a warranty on the service that I can't even use because THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM LAST YEAR. I will NEVER recommend someone to get service done at this location. Poor service and very poor service management. More

My car was in the shop for 47 days and the person I was dealing with was not giving me anything but delay after delay, After speaking with Matt I felt that someone would finally take care of my situation, but in the back of my mind I expected the same. Matt proved to me that there are still people in this world that care about the service they provide. He got to the issue, resolved it and got me my car, he actually seemed to care and kept his promise. That is all anyone wants. Thank you Matt, keep doing the good work you do. More

Great experience - customer service We received excellent service at Landers McLarty . Prompt attention to some concerns with warning lights and radio cutting out. Got us in quickly. New to Huntsville and the service from this dealership is even better than where we bought our car. Had our 20,000 mile maintenance and oil changed as well. Derek Smith, in the service department, was very professional and took good care of us. John, the courtesy car driver was very personable and he helped us get acquainted with an easy way to get to our home. The courtesy car that took us home and came to get us when the car was finished a day later was a pleasant surprise. Since our Chrysler is the only car we have at this point, it was a very welcome service. More

Sales, finance, and the service department can't be trusted I bought my 2013 Dart GT from Landers Dodge 2 years ago this past September. I have had nothing but issues with them since. Every service visit led to I bought my 2013 Dart GT from Landers Dodge 2 years ago this past September. I have had nothing but issues with them since. Every service visit led to some type of delay or other problem, I constantly had to battle the finance guy to stop changing numbers on the paperwork and still come to find out he didn't put down the 100,000 mile extended warranty I had asked and was charged for, and you can't expect management to get in touch with you when you try to report an issue. Time after time I have had issues there and if it wasn't for the included oil changes then I would not be returning. I have had them try to get me to pay another $100 for an alignment 4 months after getting one and while the car was still perfectly aligned. They lost or broke a wheel stud and tried to blame it on me even though they are the only shop to work on my car. My Uconnect system went haywire causing me to lose my radio, climate control, phone, backup cam, and other safety features and it was going to be weeks before they could see me. The service manager ignores my voicemails despite the fact that I have had a number of legitimate issues since buying the car there. More
Difficult maintenance issue. My 2500 Ram truck has a diesel engine with a history of soot accumulation on the oxygen sensors in the exhaust system. Landers McLarty diesel mechanic Sam Jahnke has replaced the sensors numerous times and the sensor wiring harness once. I value my truck very highly but I trust Sam Jahnke to understand and repair the truck, and particularly the diesel engine. My Service Advisor, Jim Hartman, is also very knowledgeable of Ram trucks and Ram diesel engines. So I commend and recommend the Landers McLarty Service Department highly. More

Shaft found me a great slightly used Dart that fit my requirements. He even followed me to the airport to return my rental car and had a friend pick him up. Now that is an extra effort I did not expect after 6:00pm. More
Beware! Took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to the Service dept because of 2 of my seat belts not working properly and my heater would blow hot air until the Took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited to the Service dept because of 2 of my seat belts not working properly and my heater would blow hot air until the vehicle slows down or stops, then it would cool off. Long story short, they had my vehicle a week and a day and did NOTHING! I have an extended warranty, however, they said someone came to inspect the issues with my Jeep and they would not be covered. I was told that my upon inspection, my heater core was not cracked, but clogged and to flush it was not covered. After picking up my vehicle, I had 2 former employees of that service dept look and there was no way they inspected my heater core! When I told the service writer that, he agreed that it had not been inspected correctly! Also, I was told that there was a known problem with a chemical reaction of fluids clogging the heater core & was given info on the fix! If they know that, they should fix it! Do not trust these guys! The worst thing they did was lie to my face! More
