Jodie was a lifesaver! I was busy at work and forgot (can you believe that?) to pick up my Durango before the service department closed at 6 PM. I contacted Jodie through the internet chat service and (can you believe that?) to pick up my Durango before the service department closed at 6 PM. I contacted Jodie through the internet chat service and she was more than willing to try and help. Low and behold, within 10 minutes I received a call from Barney and they were able to get my keys and had my vehicle available immediately. This is the type of customer service that keeps people coming back! More

Recently I was looking to replace my wife's auto and I had previously bought Dodge Ram trucks from Landers and was impressed by the knowledge and customer focus of the entire staff on my dodge truck so I had previously bought Dodge Ram trucks from Landers and was impressed by the knowledge and customer focus of the entire staff on my dodge truck so I was looking for an auto. My sales consultant (Robert Riley) has always known the product and explains in detail the numerous advantages of the vehicles and their features. The General Manager (Mr. Williams) always makes time to talk me when I am bringing in my truck for service and personally ensures that the customer is always FIRST. So I brought my wife in to look at the Chrysler 200 and 300. However, she kept going to the Dodge Charger SXT. Robert explained all the features and she drove it around, Mr. Williams asked if she liked the car and told Robert to make a "deal" she would be happy with and the General Sales Manager (Mr. Lopez) ensured we got top dollar for our trade-in, best price, and we are now the proud owners of a fully loaded 2014 Dodge Charger SXT. One word of caution - the speedometer on a Dodge Ram and a Dodge Charger is different in the straight up position and the State Troopers of Alabama frown on that speed. The "Olde Guy" More

When I pulled in to the dealership at Landers Mclarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Huntsville on a casual drive one afternoon, a salesman named Milton then greeted me while I was casually looking at a Dodge Ch Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Huntsville on a casual drive one afternoon, a salesman named Milton then greeted me while I was casually looking at a Dodge Challenger. He tells me a little about the car and how much it was, and I told him it was way beyond what I was willing to pay, and I am only trying to get an idea of how the car drives. He then retorted by explaining his manager is offering incredible deals right now and that it is the best time to buy. Not at all impressed by his cliche sales pitch, I agreed to take it on a test drive because I was curious. Back at the dealership, he asks me what I thought about the car. I tell him him it's great but it's way out of my budget. Milton urges me to come inside with him just to get my contact information and see what "options" we could work out. My thoughts are he is going to try to find me a more affordable car, but no. After many attempts to sway me into signing on it, each deal seemed about as bad as the last. So I reiterate to him how I wanted to test drive the car to see what it was like. He then asks, "What if we could lower the payments a little for you? Is it just the higher insurance payments you are concerned about? What is keeping us from earning your business today?" It becomes apparent my test drive excuse was not enough for him so I simply say I will have to check to see how much insurance would be just so he would leave me alone, and I could leave. Two days later - I'm at work and get a call on my cell phone from an unknown number. I'm too busy to answer it. Minutes later I receive an Instant Message on my laptop from the Security Guard at the front desk that Milton called. I became aggravated because I just started a new job as an engineer for a large company of 82,000 employees, and this man has the audacity to call my place of work WITHOUT my permission like its a small family-owned business. I immediately call Milton back and explained that calling my workplace was not okay, and that I never spoke to my insurance company about the Dodge because I wasn't interested in the car. He then tries to lower the price of the car, but I politely say "No Milton, the price is just way too high. I appreciate you showing me the car but I am just not interested." Disappointed he then explains how he hopes I will come back at some point and do business with him. A couple of hours later, I receive yet ANOTHER phone call from Milton. "So Justin, what is really keeping you from buying this car? It seems like you really liked it. I literally saw you and the car become one." I then angrily say no, its too expensive, and tell him not to call me about it anymore because I'm extremely busy and have no time to deal with him. Then Milton's manager - Jerry calls me the next day 3 different times trying to get me to come back and try the car out. I finally come back hoping they will leave me alone. They get the former owner come by and he ends up talking me into thinking this is a great deal. So regardless of what my conscience is telling me, I give in and agree to trade my car in and buy the Dodge. As soon as I get it home, I realize the car doesn't even fit in my garage, and realize that I am now in incredible debt. So I bring it back the next day in deep remorse, explaining how I'm sorry but I just want my car back. Jerry explains there is nothing he can do. I am now out over $14,000 after this horrible experience, and paid cash to get my old car back after clipping a mailbox with the dodge on accident.Ultimately, after a week of fighting to get my old car which I originally traded them for $8k and damaging the car which they force me to buy, I ending up buying it back for over $21k! That's paying almost retail for a car with 115k miles on it. It is my own fault for going there in the first place so I hold myself accountable. However, I know they could have worked with me when I offered them $2k to get my old car back the day after I got the dodge. Morally, Landers Mclarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Huntsville is the bottom of the barrel, and they will drain you for every dime you have. So beware when you come here. This experience has ruined my finances and my wreck havoc on my life. Stay away from that place! More
This was the worst car buying experience of mine or my husband's life. We were there for 5 hours, and eventually had to ask for a vehicle to go eat while our purchased car was in detail for the THIRD TIM husband's life. We were there for 5 hours, and eventually had to ask for a vehicle to go eat while our purchased car was in detail for the THIRD TIME! We had to keep sending it back b/c there were obvious things that were not cleaned. After the third time at detail, we decided we were too tired to send it back again (it was almost 7pm and we had an hour drive ahead of us). When I got home, I used a simple cleaning wipe and was able to simply wipe away marks that were still on the interior. It was obvious that they had not even wiped down all the surfaces. Also, there were still crumbs in the console compartment. As far as the sale went, we were asked questions such as "What is your SSN?” and “How long have you lived at your current address?", etc BEFORE we had even seen the vehicle we were there to look at. I asked the salesman (Scott Baxter) if he was about to run our credit and he said he was going ahead and getting info for financing. We had never mentioned financing and HAD NOT EVEN SEEN THE CAR YET! That should have been one of the first warning signs. The price of the vehicle we were there to look at was a good price, so although there were warning signs, we decided we wanted to purchase it. The purchasing/negotiating process was a nightmare!! I won't go into specifics, but they promised us a financing rate and had us sign on the line that we were satisfied with what payments would be without even talking with the finance guy. He (finance guy) was even frustrated at how that was handled b/c he was not able to give us that rate when he officially did run our credit. When the bill of sale was presented for me to sign, it was handed over quickly with the place where I was to sign highlighted (just like all the other numerous forms I had just signed). Had I not looked it over first, I would have missed that they had written the final price on the bill of sale about $1000 more than the negotiated price. Either the salesman is really that dumb or very sly b/c at that point he acted really confused and didn't understand what was going on. Overall, it was a horrible experience, but we DID come out with a great vehicle for a good price. The customer service experience alone was enough for me to tell people to avoid this dealership like the PLAGUE! More
I've never had a better experience from a car dealership till I went here. My fiance and I bought 2 vehicle from here. I would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone in the area. They go ABOVE and till I went here. My fiance and I bought 2 vehicle from here. I would definitely recommend this dealership to everyone in the area. They go ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure you're happy and will do almost anything you ask to have you leave that dealership to have the car you wanted. I've never been so happy with our vehicle. The customer service is great, too. When Josh was a Salesman, he made sure my Fiance left with his truck. I had Allan for my 2012 Jeep, he's really great. And Brent, he'll make sure you're happy with your finance rate, trust me. They also upgraded my cloth seats to leather for FREE cause that was the only way I'd buy it. They truly treat you like family from the minute you walk in. Most people say salesman are just trying to make a sale, that may be true, but Landers McClarty Dodge Chrysler Jeep is not like that at all. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this dealer. I can go on and on, but I'm sure you get the point. More
