Saved my day! After having problems with the service dept where I had made a recent car purchase, I went down the street to Landers. I was out in 2 hours (after spending 4 1/2 at the other dealership) and they even took care of a recalled airbag on my car. In 2 hours my frustrating day turned into a happy one. LATE 2. It is late and THEN the WRONG part so we are back to waiting again. 3. The service writer seems powerless to do anything about it. I would expect 1 day shipping to remedy it and thats not an option I am told, which is complete avoiding responsibility for the problem in my book. If you order the wrong part its your fault, make it better. If you are sent the wrong part and it is supplies fault..make them make it better. My last 2 dealings nearly cost me $140,000 + worth of business. The first was a windshield OEM I ordered that went form taking a week to taking over 3 weeks! just to come in. Then when it arrived it wasn't even the right windshield. $67,000 vehicle The second and while the service writer was informative and courteous , he was powerless to do anything but give me voice time to vent. I had a back up camera module ordered under warranty (which is a part of the problem..no tech wants to do warranty work, it pays less. fix that crap) I bought it in on Fri 11am to be worked on. They didn't touch it until the next monday. Part was ordered, it was to come in on wednesday. Wrong part came in..had to wait until the NEXT monday again to get the new part in. $76,000 Vehicle. Although polite the attitude of the whole dealership feels " whelp, too bad, your problem, not our fault, oh well" More

Nice people, lack of attention to customer request. Took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler in to have a recall taken care of and since my wife and I were going out of town we wanted to make sure this safety recall Took my 2013 Jeep Wrangler in to have a recall taken care of and since my wife and I were going out of town we wanted to make sure this safety recall was complete before we left. I figured while I was having that done I might as well have the oil changed, tires rotated and a couple of other things completed. (Which I usually never have the dealership do.) I dropped it off at 10:00 a.m. if I remember correctly and let them know I needed it back by 3:00 p.m. which they said wouldn't be a problem. I am a very flexible person but we did have something we had to do that afternoon which is why I specified the time frame. Well, 3:00 p.m. rolls around and no word from the dealership so I call, get put on hold for 10 mins, the on hold music ends and I realize I got hung up on. So I call back, get put on hold again for 5 mins and then am told that it would be ready by 4:00. Okay, no big deal. It happens and like I said, I am flexible. We pick up the Jeep and I checkout, go to get in my vehicle, but before I do I check something first. You see, before I took the Jeep to the dealership I took a pencil and wrote the word "spare" on my spare tire wheel on the rear of the Jeep. I usually don't trust the service places when I ask them to rotate in the 5th wheel and sure enough, there was the word spare right where I left it. The tire on the rear never got moved. I specifically told the guy that checked me in that I needed to have that done and of course in true dealership fashion, he replied "Oh absolutely, sir." Well, they didn't do it and I unfortunately didn't have the time at that point to go back in and then wait to have them rotate the tires again. To top it off, I specifically told the guy that I did not want them to mess with the tire pressure as I had aired them down slightly for the trip my wife and I were about to go on, but they didn't listen to me about that either and fully aired them up. Talk about being highly irritated after spending what we spent there and not having it done right. It left me wondering whether or not they had even changed the oil, actually rotated the tires, changed the transfer case fluid or the front and rear differential fluids. All it took was to see my own handwriting on my spare tire to feel like I had been cheated. I will absolutely never again have this dealership do anything other than a recall on my vehicle and will probably find somewhere else to go even then. This is the second bad experience I have had at this Steve Landers and I figured I would give them a second chance. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will never go back here again. More

The poor rating is based on administrative policy that the employees have to follow, so there is no fault directed toward them at all. I had an appointment in the afternoon to get an oil change and tire rotation (this is the same dealer I bought a new 2019 Ram from). I showed up about five minutes early and there were about 5-6 cars in front of me. The service tech told me it would be about an hour and a half before they could even get to me. I asked if those in front of me had appointments and the answer was no, but they are not allowed to move anyone out of line even if there is someone behind them that does have an appointment, and that they had no control over the policy. To me this is entirely unacceptable, and not only makes a joke of the appointment system but also wastes time trying to get to a human to actually make an appointment. I am not anybody special, but there are very few days, I can actually get away for several hours to get an oil change/rotation. So they give you an appointment that they will honor if no one else is in front of you. I am kind of blown away.......thats what I would expect from a Jiffy Lube, not a preeminent dealer that touts service as one of its major strength. I was so disappointed, I actually had to wait a couple weeks before sending a review and not be histrionic. So now I am in a bind because I think you have to use a dealer while vehicle is in warranty, but I am going to have to find one outside my area that will honor an appointment. This is really a one star rating, but honestly the folks I dealt with were so nice and empathetic, I moved it up one. Another reason, when I finally did get it changed, they spilled oil on the engine and it dripped oil in my garage for three days and cost me a bag of kitty litter and more time. Very disgusted. More
