Just a flat requiring the valve stem and sensor Johnny on the spot. It was ready before I could pick it up. I was surprised at the cost but, I didn’t know they had to replace the sensor as well. Craig, and Roy always treated us like family and our vehicles were a priority when they needed repairs. I was given good prices, and we were all very happy with our relationship. Since Roy and Craig are gone, things have gone straight to xxxx in a hand basket! My last encounter was with Brent and Tracey. I explained my concerns of the high price for the rebuilding of the second transmission on our 2006 Dodge 3500. I also send Brent a text message, he didn't respond. So we called Metro Tow, and arranged for the truck to be moved to another shop. Hard to believe the same transmission, the same labor could be thousands less. If you look us up in your system, you will see the loyalty we gave to Steve landers, and I feel like we were treated poorly. So this is how it ends. More

Fell Well Below My Expectations For A Landers Dealership I took my new 2018 Dodge Ram in to have a hitch prep kit installed, a leveling kit and to have a whistling/wind noise issue addressed. I was told to h I took my new 2018 Dodge Ram in to have a hitch prep kit installed, a leveling kit and to have a whistling/wind noise issue addressed. I was told to have the truck there at 8:30 AM on Monday, Aug. 26. Dropped the truck off and was given a loaner so we could run around Little Rock while waiting for truck since we live over 2 hrs away. I was told we'd be contacted when truck was ready but to expect it to be a full day. About 3 PM we decided to go back to dealership and turn in loaner car thinking we'd surely have the truck back by 5 PM. When we returned the car it prompted the loaner agent to contact service to see if truck was ready and we were told it wasn't. We went to lobby and ran into sales person that sold us the truck and he asked us about our truck. He then said he'd go check on it for us. Only at that time were we told a tool broke that was needed to install the hitch prep kit and another tool wasn't readily available. We were told to get the loaner car again and take it home and truck would be delivered to our house when ready. The next afternoon I was contacted around 3 PM and told leveling kit wouldn't be completed until the next day which was Wednesday. I asked if they'd run into a problem or was it carryover from the broken tool the day before. I was told it was carryover and supply issues. I didn't hear any updates on Wednesday so around 8 AM on Thursday I sent a text to check status of the truck and shared my concerns about the length of time it was taking. I was told they are working on it and the plan is to have it done that afternoon if everything goes well. Around 12:30 PM to ask if they planned to bring the truck on Friday since it was getting later in the day on Thursday and to let Chris know my wife and I both had out of town appointments on Friday. I wanted to see what options we had for dropping off the truck and returning the loaner since we weren't in town. We were able to work out a plan for delivery. Didn't hear anything on Friday so around 1 PM I sent a text to let Chris know we were still out of town and to see if he knew when truck was going to be delivered because our secretary leaves the office at 4 PM and our plan was to have her give driver the keys to loaner and get our truck keys from him. I was getting concerned because it was getting late in the day and knew it's a 2 hr drive so needed to make plans if secretary had already left for the day. About 2:10 PM I received a text saying I was going to receive a link to pay the bill and as soon as I did the driver would head this way. I received the bill and I was extremely disappointed in the amount. I was fine with the cost of the hitch prep kit but very shocked at price of leveling kit. I'm familiar with leveling kits and put them on both my other trucks myself so I know how long it takes and the price of parts. I was shocked to see that the labor was $743.63 which just happens to be the exact same amount as the labor to install the hitch prep kit. About a month ago my son purchased a new 2018 Dodge Ram 2500 from a different dealership and he and I installed a 2" leveling kit in 4 hrs. After installation we took it to a shop and had front end aligned. Parts and alignment were a little over $250. We aren't mechanics, don't have all the tools nor did we have a shop to do this in. I would've certainly expected trained mechanics with a full shop of tools to be able to do this much quicker than we did. Maybe they did do it quicker and your labor cost per hour is just outrageous. It has to be one of the two. I wanted it done at your dealership to be certain it was done right and to be sure the warranty wouldn't be voided and I was told it wouldn't be. I guess my big mistake was not getting a quote for installation of leveling kit. I expected it to be around $500 so I wasn't worried about a quote.......my big mistake because it's final cost was $919.63. And now to an even bigger issue for me is the wind noise that the truck had the first day it was delivered. It sounds as if a window is down a little bit but there isn't. On Friday before the truck was brought home I asked if wind noise had been corrected and I was told yes it just required adjusting the doors. As soon as the driver dropped the truck off I took it for a text drive. I didn't have to go 50 yds and could hear the same wind noise just as bad as it was before I dropped the truck off for repair. This really frustrates me to spend $50,000 for a truck that has more outside noise than my 2004 pickup. It also shows me this problem probably wasn't even looked at and if it was the mechanic didn't test drive it afterwards or they would've certainly heard it. I really expected more from a Steve Landers dealership. All the commercials on tv talk about what a great dealership it is and the great service after the sale. This is simply not true. It's no different than many other dealers who just want to sell you a vehicle and then they're done. I don't blame Chris for this because he's a middle person between the shop and vehicle owners but somewhere there's a critical breakdown. The shop manager needs to look into the process from scheduling, to time management to tool supplies. I won't make another 2 hr drive to have my truck worked on. I'll find another dealership and will be sure not to recommend this one. More

I had just worked a 12 hr shift that night, and just got off and noticed a oil leak. So I went in that morning at 745am. Mind you I have an extended warranty i paid 1800 for and they say it might not cover it. I kept asking questions and was told to go wait in the waiting area and they'll know something soon around 230pm that afternoon some guy came and said oh mr. Williams it wont be fixed today you need to find a ride home. My extended warranty provides me with a free rental car sorry no cars available, well can I atleast get a ride home from the courtesy car, umm no sorry...... this was on a Saturday come monday evening oh your car will be ready Tomorrow you have a 200 deductible after the warranty ok great, Tuesday morning get there oh its 376.00 plus tax, I said no it's a 200 dollar deductible then go pick my car up and run into sorry your car isnt done yet...... then upon asking for a receipt the woman said sorry I cant give you one and said here and had the nerve to write the invoice # part # date and the amount i paid on a blank lander's envelope........ oh yea then my Indash screen has a black spot where you can clearly see the indentation of someones finger pressing too hard because they thought it was a push screen........ because they were too lazy to go as far as looking at the model or heaven forbid read the manual to know it's not touch screen.
