I'm so very sorry your experience was not as expected. All of us here at Landers are highly trained with the manufacturer and only recommend what your vehicle needs based on time/mileage. These items can be found in your owners manual as well. We as a team do not recommend any service that is not recommended by the manufacturer. Once a vehicle is finished in the shop our advisor team then has to book the repair order and go through all paperwork to make sure everything is correct is most likely the main reason your vehicle was not fully ready once you arrived early to pick it up. I'm so sorry you feel that way. The only way to diagnose an A/C system failure is to evac and recharge the Freon in that system. At the point of diagnosis he first did the recharge and checked for any leaks which is why it is the 2 hours. The 30 minutes longer was with the repair. We always go off of book time for any work. If I had quoted you 2 hours and it took the technician 4 hours due to unforeseen circumstances would it have been fair to charge you the 4 hours the complete job took? I wouldn't be happy being charged for something that took longer personally. These highly trained technicians are paid on flat rate and not hourly. They quote a time straight from standard manufacturer times if it takes them longer they only get paid the quoted hours. Just to give you a short understanding of how they are paid. If the technician is well trained and has been a technician for many years, then yes they will be able to beat the book time. If you have any other questions please reach out to me. I would also like to make note that no one has said the same story from this dealership. I was constantly given the run around about the price and the time. I was told the price of the technician was for the hourly rate, but now im being told something else again. From my experience, I would not have my vehicle serviced here again. Also, like mentioned above, AC still isn't working great. Save yourself a headache, money, and time and go to somewhere more reliable.
