Do not buy extended warranty! It does not extend your warranty! I purchased my vehicle 10/12/2020 with 36,420 miles and added an extended warranty plan for $4000 on top of my It does not extend your warranty! I added what I believed was 45,000 extended warranty with Assurant and coming to need it my vehicles transmission went out on 1/23/2023 with 83,069 and was declined coverage because it added 45,000 to the mileage it had expiring at 81,420. To my understanding extended warranty should be after the original factory warranty of 60,000 miles coming to be extended till 105,000 miles. Now I am struggling to repair this and still pay the $666.50 a month for nothing. I never used it on any repairs. I only used my vouchers for oil changes that came with it. EXTENDED WARRANTY is not extended if it voids the factory warranty. Adding this made it valid for only 21,420 warranty miles. This is a scam and I attempted to contact Landers and spoke to Zach in service who apparently would be contacting Assurant to fix this and when he did Assurant needed a signature from Sales Advisor Les who called me back two days later to say that it was expired . There was nothing he could do. I am very disappointed in this. They attempted to have me trade it in to offer me $25,000 for it. I since then have towed it from Confidence Ford to my house waiting to have the money to repair it. Meanwhile leaving a family of 5 kids to struggle on how to make it till this is completed. A complete waste of money do not fall for this trick. We also put $15,000 down and paid $666.50 for 50 months making it $33,325 plus the down we have invested $48,325 dollars . I feel that I was taken advantage of. More
Tried to get some real help on the Life Time Warranty (Mopar) that I had purchased when I brought my 2015 Charger. The work was a headlight problem and was told by the service advisor Braxton Stoneking t (Mopar) that I had purchased when I brought my 2015 Charger. The work was a headlight problem and was told by the service advisor Braxton Stoneking that the Ballest was over heating and that the complete headlight assembly would have to be replace with the wiring loom and that it was not covered,. When I asked what it would cost to repair it , he informed me that it would be $1500.00. He told me he would try and find out why the repairs were not covered. After waiting a few days to hear back from him, I called he said there way nothing he could do period. That's when I spoke with the service manager Jeremy Yandell to see if he knew why it wasn't covered he said they didn't cover headlights and that was all there was to it. I told him I would understand if it was the bulb itself, but that they're talking about $1500.00 dollars and besides that , I had that headlight worked on by Landers Dodge Service dept. once before and that, the Technician doing the work told me that he was having to rewire the fuss block due to a Manufacture Defect and at the time he told me that I was standing at the car and he had the wiring all exposed. When I got the car back it worked fine and all the work was covered under the warranty, that's what was confusing me, about this latest problem. So while I was speaking with the service manager Jeremy Yandell I pointed out to him that I had work done on that headlight prior, he said "yeah 2 years ago". So I asked for the Mopar customer service number, he yelled out across the service bay to Braxton Stoneking to give me the number, he did only in a way to get rid of me . This was just the start of about 3weeks going back and forth with these guys. Then I started calling customer service. That was another whole experience in itself. More
