I truly appreciate the time that Mr. Russell took with me. He helped me find the vehicle that fit my needs. I will be back for all my future purchases. Thank you me. He helped me find the vehicle that fit my needs. I will be back for all my future purchases. Thank you More
Wish we could have finished and gotten it detailed the same evening we bought vehicle...an added hassle. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and timely, otherwise. same evening we bought vehicle...an added hassle. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and timely, otherwise. More
Everyone I encountered at David Stanley Dodge was very friendly. I was asked by a dozen different people if there was anything I needed while I waited for delivery. Ronnie was very helpful while Russell w friendly. I was asked by a dozen different people if there was anything I needed while I waited for delivery. Ronnie was very helpful while Russell was finishing a deal with another customer. Shellie in finance was very nice and took time to ensure we understood the loan specifics. I believe the "wrap" coverage policies are over priced and decided against the purchase of one. I would like a price for a Chrysler extended warranty with the hi-tech type option and will be shopping around for the best price. I took delivery of the vehicle without a wash and vac since the detail dept was really behind and found a paint chip on the passenger door when I went to the carwash after driving home that day. Overall I am very satisfied and recommend David Stanley Dodge in Norman to anyone looking for a new Dodge. My experience the week befor at the Midwest City location was very disappointing, fortunately I ended up in Norman and realized they are associated in name only. Go to Norman, it's worth the drive. Made 2 trips to this dealership. First one, I had no issues. Felt they were upfront and honest about what they were able to do. Unfortunatley they werent able to help get me out of my car. Told them tha issues. Felt they were upfront and honest about what they were able to do. Unfortunatley they werent able to help get me out of my car. Told them thank you and that I would be back when I could have a better down payment. They called me back the next day and told me to come back and they would give me a better deal. I told them to have the deal ready because I had kids and didnt want to spend my Friday night in the dealership with my kids. I get there and my salesman didnt know I was even coming and nothing had changed on my deal that they had given me the day before. I became upset and told them goodbye and that I would be going to another dealership for a deal that I was getting there. Why car buying has to be so drama filled before they give you a good deal I will never understand but after some harsh words and elevated voice levels from me, they gave me the deal I was looking for. Now here is the funny part. The young woman was pulling my new Jeep Cherokee around and backed it into a truck!! I felt kinda sorry for her but was pretty upset at the same time. Now, if they fix the damage and add a little extra for the damage I will be able to give 5 stars and refer business. We will see!! Come on David Stanely, go above and beyond and make this right. You did wreck my brand spanking new Cherokee. More
Russell was very patient and we appreciate he did not push even though it took us three days to decide on the Jeep A couple items needed to be added post sale and he handled everything -- including a lo push even though it took us three days to decide on the Jeep A couple items needed to be added post sale and he handled everything -- including a loaner while the was completed. great atmosphere and a pleasure to work with. very pleased with russell jackson. he made buying my new jeep wrangler easy, with no back and forth price playing. he actually followed up with us several pleased with russell jackson. he made buying my new jeep wrangler easy, with no back and forth price playing. he actually followed up with us several times after the sale.Impressed!! also the dealership is easy to find and clean. everyone seemed willing to help. i'll make the drive to norman from edmond to make all my maintainance. and kudos to finance. although i came prepared with my own financing, i couldnt pass up the opportunity to take advantage of some savings there. Amin Ashtab is awesome. I never heard of gap insurance; at least not the way it was explained to me that day. After Amin's presentation, i also took advantage of gap, along with some other protection. with all this my payments was only 12 more monthly with protection compared with credit union that offered no protection. thanks!! angellita byrd More
I am inquiring why I am being asked to renegotiate my original contract signed 11/02/13 based on no bank willing to finance at 75 months but rather 72 for a $14 a month increase in monthly payment. original contract signed 11/02/13 based on no bank willing to finance at 75 months but rather 72 for a $14 a month increase in monthly payment. Upon entering David Stanley they want you to fill out a form for credit. I informed you all I had less than good credit but was assured that the vehicle I chose and my credit would be at $500 monthly payment. I then was moved to Derrick in financing who played with all the numbers but could only get my payment above $700. I even chose the plan with 100,000 mile extended warranty and gap insurance and signed the agreement for 75 months. I left David Stanley with my new vehicle and waited for my payoff and tag title tax. Three weeks later i am getting phone calls saying they forgot to have me sign a form. In fact they wanted me to sign a new contract for increase payment. I refused and stated i never wanted my payment that high in the first place. This is where i met you Mr. Byrd who somehow in five minutes was able to not only not increase my payment but decrease it to $715. When asked how, I remember your honorable response of "well we had to increase your trade in and shave some of our profit" but your all about moving units. Hmm back comes Derrick who starts printing paperwork at my awesome decreased payment. But wait, I guess the shaving off there profit actually meant taking away the warranty and gap insurance. Well makes sense the payment goes down because the total finance amount went down. So sweet of them, and then here comes the director of new car sales who wants to inform me that he got my payment down like I wanted and that I should be happy. I explain that I wanted my warranty that Derrick sold as essential but now apparently is not needed and can be purchased later at 0%.. I am told that i can take the offer or he will force the original agreement through because they do 3 million per month through these banks and they can get the bank to shave off a few points and lock me into higher payment. Needless to say not impressed or intimidated. Finally Derrick comes back in reprocesses paperwork and adds in another $800 for gap insurance. I refused to sign anything and left. I asked for truck back and was told it was sold already. I do not understand why I am being told that my vehicle has been sold yet my lien holder shows no payoff has been made. Per reading the agreement it clearly states that the dealer will have to finalize financing within 15 days of signing which is 11/02/13. It appears that David Stanley has failed to finalize my financing or I wouldn't be getting called back to change the terms. Furthermore the agreement states that David Stanley will maintain my trade in until financing is finalized. I again have been told that my trade in has already been sold. It seems to me that David Stanley has failed to meet any terms of this contract and has resorted to pressure tactics and threats of holding me to my "original contract" when I did not initiate any change from the contract on 11/02/13. I would like to know why David Stanley feels practicing Yo-Yo financing is acceptable. I do not wish to continue business with David Stanley if this is the practice from the top down. I recorded the conversation with finance where I was told specifically that TFCU and USAA were included in the 500 lenders that reviewed my loan application. This is a blatant lie that was later recanted regarding TFCU but maintained for USAA but only after making it obvious I was recording. I am requesting information regarding the sale of my 2007 Dodge and if it truly has been sold or if this is a lie. I am also requesting clarification on why I am being told my credit has been ran through TFCU and USAA when David Stanley does not use these two institutions in their 500 lenders. I do have these statements recorded in case these allegations are disputed. I feel as if I am being targeted because of my credit score as a potential pushover who would be susceptible to this type of yo yo financing scam. Unfortunately you failed to account that I am a disabled Veteran and an Oklahoma City Police officer who doesn't get intimidated easily. I, the Attorney General, and the Better Business Bureau look forward to your reply and clarification on the sale of my trade in vehicle being sold prior to finalizing my contract. I also look forward to turning in this Dodge Durango that is no longer new to you all for resale. Thank you Jim Cortez More
Drove from Dallas to Norman to try to purchase a truck, this is a 3 hour drive. We saw this truck on the internet with a price of 41,900. When working with the sales guy and manager Marshall Towler they gi this is a 3 hour drive. We saw this truck on the internet with a price of 41,900. When working with the sales guy and manager Marshall Towler they give us a price of $46,000+ we told him what would the be OTD price and stated $43,000 was the lowest he could offer even though we had seen it for less online. A couple days later we called in again and talked to Shane Brooks who is the Directed and the quoted $40,500 plus doc fee of $250, we drove back down during the week because of the price he had quoted. When we got there he was gone for the day and we were working with Matt Foster who knew that Shane had quoted that price. Marshall got involved since he was the manager working at that time and said he did not know why Shane had quoted that price and he could not honor it even though we had the money and had driven 3 hours to pick up the truck. We left highly disappointed at this and a couple days later Jessica call several times asking us to go back. She stated she had talked to her boss and they would work with us on the price. I stated that we would not drive back down if we did not have something in writing because now we were going to pay less for the truck since that was going to be our 3rd trip there. She insisted she had told her manager the amount we were willing to offer and he wanted us to go back. When we get there everyone pretty much ignored us, Marshall has a sarcastic attitude with us and Shane who did not even introduce himself to us until we were telling him everything that happened said he could not do much except fill our tank with gas so we could leave. As we were leaving we drove by the truck to see it and talk about if we were willing to offer what they wanted. Kid you not about 7 sales people came out thinking we were going to do something to the truck or steal it. That made me very upset because of the way they reacted to the situation. There was a very very rude guy that works in finance but I don't recall his name that had a bad attitude and was even screaming at us. I am not the type to give reviews or even confront anyone but this was the worst customer service I have ever received at a dealership that I would not recommend it to anyone. And to top it off I just checked to see if the truck was still for sale and now they are asking even less than what they were asking us even though the stated they could not sell it for less. More
